"Cornaro is a very smart and well run hotel, as you might expect for the price. Everything was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. It was also in a great location for visiting the old town of Split. The view from the rooftop terrace/bar was stunning and well worth a visit even if you did not have a drink. The only slight negative was the cleaning of our room. The maid failed to top up tea bags, coffee capsules or milk when servicing the room and we had to ask for more from the front desk, a minor point only."

"Very nice hotel, clean and rooms were very spacious as well as the bathroom. The breakfast was awesome, probably the best we have had from a hotel. Great view from the balcony over the water and beach. Not sure why they list “white sand beach” as it is gravel but was still nice. You must rent the chairs for 10euro each per day or else sit in the gravel. They do have a laundry service but prices are astronomicall, I have never seen prices so high. They Charge per item for ex. 1 t-shirt is 6eruos. Went to a laundromat instead. Only issue we had was the mini fridge did not really work in our room. We had bought some drinks to keep cool and snacks for our 2 year old that needed to stay cold. Informed the staff but they didn’t seem to care at all or offer any solution for us."

"Our room was large, spacious and very nice. The complimentary bottle of wine in our room was unexpected and appreciated. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options. The spa pool and saunas were very nice. Excellent location. Walking time to the Old City was about 15 minutes. We would definitely stay here again!"
