The room looked brand new and everything in it was top tier: wine fridge, fancy coffee grinder, 65" Samsung TV... I was impressed. My only criticism is that it was a large, slippery step in and out of the shower. For a room that was listed as handicapped accessible, I would have tried to make that a smaller step up or at least install a handrail to make it easier. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

⸻ I had an amazing stay at Roost White House this weekend and honestly can’t wait to go back. The room felt more like a fully equipped apartment than a typical hotel room. Mine had a private balcony (which I absolutely loved), a dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, stovetop, and a well-stocked kitchen with plates and silverware. There was also a Bluetooth speaker and a huge TV — everything felt thoughtfully set up and incredibly comfortable. The location is unbeatable — just a 5-minute walk to the White House — which made exploring so easy. The building feels very secure since you can’t enter without a key fob, which you receive at check-in. That extra layer of security made it feel safe and private. The room was spotless, and I especially enjoyed having my coffee out on the balcony in the morning — such a peaceful start to the day. The lobby is beautiful, and I appreciated the convenience of the vending machines stocked with snacks and drinks. Check-in was smooth and provided all the information I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — truly great customer service. They couldn’t have been more helpful. In my opinion, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. It genuinely feels more like staying in a stylish Airbnb apartment than a traditional hotel — but with the service and security of a hotel. I didn’t even get the chance to check out the gym or pool, so I guess I’ll just have to come back!

I was fortunate to stay at ROOST White House the 2nd day after the White House location had opened. The experience was entirely positive.The front desk staff was extremely friendly and assisted me with car parking via underground garage and directions to the room. The room itself was a 1 BR suite with kitchen / living area, large bathroom with walk-in shower, and a good sized bedroom. All furnishings were brand new and high-end. The kitchen was well equipped, and suitable for a multi-week stay. There were 2 large TVs in the unit with DirectTV included. My unit #211 was very quiet and conveniently located to the elevator. I look forward to visiting again soon.
