Great location and easy parking opposite. If you just need a bed it’s fine but we were here for a competition so girls needed sleep It was like sleeping in a disco, hot water speradic, no hot breakfast Unfortunately won’t return as didn’t suit our needs

Car park opposite is ideal and super close to town which is great. Hotel is however so dated, and cleanliness in rooms and outside of hotel is not great. WiFi doesn’t work. Everywhere creaks as you move around so woken by other families throughout stay as people moved through hotel. Hairdryer broken, toilet seat broken, shower pointless and dirty, throw on bed dirty, windows grotty.

I booked this hotel for my daughter who is 22 and was travelling alone. when she checked in she noticed that the window wouldn't close. I wasn't happy when she told me so I called the hotel and explained the safety issue and asked if they could take a look. I then called her back there was already a knock on her door from the handy man. He couldn't fix it so they moved her to another room. I am so impressed with the service and speed that the hotel dealt with my concerns and would definately recommend them.

Hotel is shabby and down at heel. Although there has been some attempt at improving the condition of the rooms, there is a pervasive sense that management do not care. No hot water for the shower on arrival (resolved - boiler was off!), Tired and marked bed linen although mattress felt newish. Breakfast (not purchased) was a joke. Billed as continental it fell far short of that description. The only positive, whuch raised my rating considerably was the staff member that seemed to be there morning, moon and night, working the bar, reception, and who knows what else. She was always smiling, pleasant, and caring. The only other member of staff, the gentleman that checked me in was the pokar opposite, dressed in track pants and old top with a surly, indifferent manner.

Comfortable room, had a desk with mirror as requested which was perfect, staff were extremely polite, nice and helpful. Room size wasn't enormous but enough space to move around, shower was a little awkward to get out of but found it really cozy, and the provided shower gel was really nice.
