I loved everything about this hotel! The room was very pretty and spacious and had everything I needed. Coffee, fridge, wonderful towels and linens, bathrobe, etc. The hotel staff were very kind and accommodating and the hotel was clean and well kept. They were willing to help with anything. We had a great stay at Cenica the Curio Collection in Porto! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the location was great; walkable to the historic district and some great restaurants literally across the street. The last morning we had the breakfast buffet at the hotel and it was LOVELY! So many great options, wonderful staff who make great cappuccinos, and delicious food. One odd thing was that you are unable to control the thermostat in the room. So if you like to sleep with a very cold room, you have to call down to the front desk and they adjust the temperature of the room for you. We had never encountered that before. But when asked, they did do it and the temperature was fine for sleeping! The bed was comfortable, the gym is a bit small for a mainstream hotel, but the equipment was good. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

Everything in the hotel and room was great. The room was wonderful and the oversize bath towels are a huge plus. Location was also very good. Now, for the one negative, and it is a huge negative that would prevent us from staying here again! In the lobby by the reception desk, the hotel has a plug in device that gives off a constant mist with an overpowering strong scent that is unpleasant and overwhelming. It is so powerful, that even when you left the hotel, it lingered on for several minutes.

My second time at this hotel. It really is the perfect city pad, close to Trindade metro station and 10 mins walk to the old town, without being in the middle of it. Very stylish rooms and large bathrooms, plus a lovely indoor pool and hot tub. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The facade of an old theatre is built into the new hotel.
