Lake George and related destinations
Adirondack mountains frame the crystal-clear waters where vintage steamboats chug past wooded islands like floating postcards come to life. Million Dollar Beach offers swimming with a view that actually lives up to its name. Fort William Henry Museum brings colonial battles to life without the actual musket fire. The House of Frankenstein Wax Museum and Dr. Morbid's Haunted House provide delightfully kitschy scares even on sunny afternoons. Six Flags Great Escape delivers roller coaster thrills when lake activities aren't enough. Adirondack Winery pours local vintages in a tasting room where conversations flow as freely as the wine. Come summer, the shoreline buzzes with families licking ice cream cones, but autumn's fiery foliage reflected in the lake might be the real showstopper.

Courtyard by Marriott Lake George
"The room fridge is way too small and not c old enough, all the food i brought with me spoiled because it wasn't properly refrigerated. Otherwise, a great experience"
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lake George
"The room was spacious and clean with a kitchenette and dining area. Nice pool, Good breakfast. Would stay again with kids or family! It was close enough to Lake George Village and Great Escape. Great stay!"
Admiral Motel
"Always a great hotel . Quiet easily walkable to shops and restaurants."
Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center
"We loved many things about this hotel and would stay again. Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and updated. The outdoor pool is large and there were always chairs, and it was nice to have food service in the area. The indoor pool is smaller, lit and heated, my kids loves it. The grounds were gorgeous and we could t get enough of the lake view. We walked everywhere, easy access/very close to the village, boats, mini golf. We LOVED the fort, so cool! Good deal, a ticket gets you two days. The food was mediocre, but service was good and all were very friendly. The menu and chef changed right after we left, so food may be better now."
Nordick's Inn
"We went back to Lake George for a few days . As soon as I arrived to the front desk I knew it was going to be a god trip. I was greeted by the biggest smile from Danny. The interaction was so amazing that we spoke about out backgrounds and life. Mija joint in later and also she was delightful. I hope Danny comes back next year for the summer I will love to see him again. Oh I almost forgot for the owners of this property, you have a 💎 in Danny. When he was not at the front desk, he was outside gardening and sweeping the area."
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Lake George
"If you’re looking for a reasonable price hotel in walking distance of everything.. this is a great choice.. staff was friendly and everything was clean and well kept.. only down fall is no free breakfast but not a big deal.."
Lakefront Terrace Resort
"I was lucky enough to enjoy a lakefront room. The room was bright, the view was heaven, the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly. Check in was smooth, the beach was clean, I was able to score a lounger chair. 10/10 experience. The only down side was the wifi was shoddy."
Tiki Resort
"Good find, clean and comfortable"
Depe Dene Lakeside Resort
"The property was directly on the water it was wonderful. Each room had a parking space which was helpful however where I parked for my room was down a hill. The rd is really only 1 car wide and it was both entrance and exit. The hill made it impossible to see if anyone was coming down while you exited. Then at the top cars were parked partially on the rd making getting off the steep road more difficult. This was the worst part of my stay and it wasn't a big issue. They have everything you need there! Kitchen is more than enough to make a meal. Good size fridge, beds were okay, bathroom had hot water and clean. I enjoyed the little deck area off my room and the roof deck over the docks. Playground for kids, felt extremely safe pool was wonderful. The property had everything right there it was very nice."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more economical option for your stay in a Lake George hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you make a reservation through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit steep, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you find a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually command higher prices; however, with Lake George's excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected.
