InterContinental Malta by IHG
"Opal lounge access is definitely worth it - breakfast was included plus complimentary drinks and snacks every evening. We also had access to the lounge area which was nice after a day at the pool or sightseeing. There was a wide variety at breakfast including an à la carte menu as well as continental, there was even a juice bar each morning. Our room was spacious and clean. Good water pressure in the shower, the only issue we had was the water temperature was quite erratic - bursts of steaming hot water even though the temperature was low. Narcis Swimming pool was great - complimentary towels are given. We also ordered food and drink by the pool via the app. We also used the indoor pool once - kids can only use it until 6pm. Private beach access was great although service was a bit slow. All staff were very friendly and helpful - special shoutout to Momie in the Opal Lounge."
Hyatt Centric Malta
"Amazing stay, hotel is beautiful and clean."
Verdi St Georges Bay Marina
"The Verdi is an awesome hotel, the staff is helpful and accommodating. We had a clean room everyday, ate at most of the restaurants that were all excellent and the pool / beach area was enjoyable, clean and necessary for the heat. I will say the area that the hotel is in is very geared to party people and young adults. We did eat at some great restaurants a new kms away but if I go back to Malta I will most likely stay in a different area. I am also looking forward to when this hotel is free of the construction surrounding it, it makes for the streets to be extremely busy and blocked off. However I can’t stress enough how this is not the hotels fault and the hotel itself deserves 5 stars."
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands
"I loved the beach access and I loved the adults only pool. The staff were lovely."
115 The Strand Hotel by NEU Collective
"Great location and comfortable stay The location of 115 The Strand Hotel is fantastic, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were kept clean, which was a positive. However, we did have some issues with the air conditioning, including a leak, and there were signs of damp and mould, which was disappointing. If natural daylight is important to you, I’d recommend booking a balcony room which is lovely but we also had one of the standard rooms it had no natural light at all, just a concrete wall outside the window. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of options. The front-of-house team were lovely and welcoming, although the restaurant staff weren’t particularly pleasant overall. Only two members of the restaurant team were genuinely engaging and friendly. Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location, comfortable beds and clean rooms, but the air-conditioning, damp/mould issues and lack of natural light in some standard rooms are worth considering when booking."
The Westin Dragonara Resort, Malta
"Beautiful hotel and location. The staff is excellent."
Ramla Bay Resort
"One of the best resorts I’ve stayed in. It’s big and even though it’s busy it doesn’t feel crowded. The little beach is a massive plus as the island doesn’t have many. Food is excellent! Every day different dishes. Two restaurants to go to. 3 swimming pools and an inside one with cold unsalted water. Bus stop 5 min from hotel. Water activities jetty even less. Every room has a balcony. It’s worth paying extra for the sea view one as it’s beautiful overlooking the pools and the sea. We were given a half sea view initially but after talking to the staff they’ve kindly changed our room to the full sea view. My only gripe is no free water given with dinner. Water is a basic human necessity and should be provided for free at meal times. Loved the place and would happily come back."
Corinthia Palace Malta
"A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt."
Hyatt Regency Malta
"I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly."
