Learn more about Valletta
Baroque splendour unfolds throughout Europe's sunniest capital, with honey-colored limestone buildings concealing treasures behind ornate facades. The Grand Harbour offers spectacular views from traditional dghajsa boats gliding past ancient fortifications. St. John's Co-Cathedral's austere exterior belies its interior Caravaggio masterpieces and knights' tombstone floors. Upper Barrakka Gardens provide the perfect spot to witness the noon cannon salute. Strait Street, formerly a sailors' haunt, now thrives with trendy cafés. Fort St. Elmo houses the War Museum, while the Grandmaster's Palace displays opulent state rooms. For authentic pastizzi, follow government workers at breakfast time instead of tourists.

The Barrister
"The staff, especially Olena, was very helpful and accommodating. It has been my 2nd time a this hotel and I enjoyed my stay very much."
Palazzo Ignazio
"Staff, breakfast and cleanness"
Palais Le Brun
"Simply brilliant. Hotel in good position for seeing attractions. The hotel is more high end hence the price. The staff were lovely and attentive. Nothing some to be to much trouble. The bar tender near the swimming pool was a real delight and very attentive. It was a brilliant stay for a long weekend."
Melior Boutique Hotel
"The hotel was ideally placed for exploring Valletta and although on a busy street, the hotel room was quiet at night. The room was clean and tidy and staff were available to help if needed, I wasn’t sure if this would be the case with there being no reception area but there was always someone around. It was nice to have different options for breakfast including Starbucks and a nearby cafe in a lovely location."
The Embassy Valletta Hotel
"Very clean and super central modern hotel. Good for a 1-2 night stay. Positives: Very clean and modern throughout and comfortable beds and fridges and tea/ coffee making facilities and iron/ ironing board Rooftop restaurant Vlwas very good for breakfast and evening meals with truly amazing views. Very polite, helpful and friendly staff. Lighting in bedrooms could be brighter. I found the rooms a bit too dark Music in rooftop area was repetitive soft cheesy saxophone music on a loop which grated after our first visit. Rooftop sunbed area lacked shade snd pool could get very busy. Quite expensive rates but we visited during peak summer season."
Domus Zamittello
"A wonderful place to stay. This attractive hotel is in an excellent position to make the most of exploring Valletta and wider - providing a welcome relief from the midsummer heat. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and bend over backwards to help. The terrace is a lovely spot for an early evening drink. Everything is clean and well thought through. It made for a fabulous 3 night break."
Mulberry Suites by The LVH Collection
"Very friendly welcome at reception - happy to answer all our questions and make recommendations. Hotel is perfectly situated a couple of streets away from the main hub in one direction and the waterfront in the other. Hotel is a bit quirky, e.g. some rooms are accessed by walking along a short outdoor corridor but this wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was a very simple affair (apart from boiled eggs there wasn’t anything else in terms of cooked goods). Room was well appointed but we didn’t like the lack of privacy when using toilet/shower facilities as they were only separated from the room by frosted glass. Location really couldn’t have been better and we would likely stay again."
66 Saint Pauls & Spa
"We had an amazing 4 nights stay in premium sea views room (room 501) with stunning views of the harbour! Room was clean, bed was so comfortable. Spacious space in the room and also bathroom. They have a lovely small pool on 4th floor with stunning views. It was never too busy and it was actually really relaxing especially after a hot day out. Breakfast was lovely with nice selections of cold meats and fruits. I would like to especially mention the hospitality and service mind of all the amazing team of staff. They all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Michael was amazing, he was attentive to details and very informative. Always the best smiles when we saw him. He makes a great asset to the hotel and for that reason we will definitely return. Thanks sooo much for a memorable stay. 💕"
Valletta Lucente
"The Valletta Lucente is incredible. The location was perfect, fully attentive staff, lovely breakfast, and my room - beautiful. I will be back for sure."
