This is our second stay and won’t be the last. We love hotels with character and this property, built in 1909 I believe, has it. It’s right next to the Alamo and convenient to most every place downtown you’d want to go. Rooms are a little small as you would expect from a hotel this old but they’re comfortable with natural wood floors. Breakfast is well done and they use the room as a wine bar in the evening. Nice way to give purpose to the room. All in all, this has become our go to place for stays in the area. Highly recommended.

Our stay was wonderful! The shower was such that we wanted to take it home. The home cooked breakfast was superb!!! The staff was friendly and helpful! The only downside was the amount of construction that infiltrated the downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to San Antonio.
