This was an old-style hotel with Parisian style. Our room was small, but adequate for our needs and equipped with a safe, kettle and fridge. The bed was comfortable and we were thrilled to have air conditioning due to the very warm weather during our visit. However, the air con shut itself off every 3 hours, which was a bit inconvenient, but no doubt a power saving measure. The hotel was pretty quiet and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The location was great with many cafés, restaurants, stores and Metro stations near by and interesting sites and neighbourhoods not far away. My only complaint would be that the shower stall in our room was uncomfortably small at about 2.5 ft square, but there was plenty of hot water at all times and the water pressure was excellent. The elevators were also small, as expected.We did not sample the breakfast here. The price per night was great and we would stay at this hotel again.

This was a great hotel in a good area of Paris. The hotel is a little bit dated, but the room was comfortable and the staff was so incredibly helpful and professional. The older man at the front desk was an absolute master of his craft and remembered my name and room from check in without fail. They also helped me out when I needed to grab breakfast a bit early one day. Really great staff.

The property is well situated on Place de Republique, for sites of interest. Metro station is literally a stones throw, however, double edged sword as we were so close you can feel the vibration of passing trains through the building. Breakfast was standard fare and very fresh. Lots of amenities nearby both on the square and if you have a wander down the nearest roads. Really good for a long weekend.
