The hotel was a short walk from the main town area. The room was very clean with big, fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious and in a nice environment. There was a partial view of the sea from the dining room. There was a bar/library that looked nice but we didn't get a chance to use and it seemed like the hotel provided beach towels. The hotel was halfway up the mountain but a very short walk to the cable car that took you down to the beach. Only negative was the parking. There was parking down the street for 30 Euros.

It was the best experience to stay at La Svizzera! The staff was the most kind and helpful people, that gladly stayed for a chat to get to know us! We felt very welcomed, and they made our trip to Taormina unforgettable. You should definitely book your stay here, and if you do, you may be lucky enough to see a magic trick from the hotels wonderful bartender Mario !

The hotel has a great location. Our room was decent size with a somewhat smaller bathroom, but overall nice. Expect classic, a bit outdated interiors - but all clean and fine. Breakfast was very nice and staff very helpful. My only comment is about safety - we could enter the reception area multiple times (where room keys are easily reachable) with nobody at the desk. Overall, I can recommend the hotel and was happy there!

This hotel is beyond worth the stay! My husband and i stayed there for two nights and we fell in love with everything from the service to the people, they were just so hospitable and i can not say enough about the breakfast.. the best from all our stays in Sicily. We stayed in the suite and the room is was beautiful and the terrace view was beyond.. we loved it!! They do not have parking for cars included, but they do have two parkings in front of the hotel and with an extra charge and if your lucky to find it available its yours.. we were lucky and for 30.00 a day we parked our car literally in front of the hotel across the street. Thank you for making our 34th anniversary one to never forget.

This perfectly located bed and breakfast was incredible! Just a few blocks from via Umberto (shopping and dining), the cable car that transports you to Isola Bella and from the bus stop that transports you to the train station and the beach, it's the place to stay if you're relying on mass transportation! Additionally, the room was brand new, bright and clean! The staff, most notably Antonella was so very helpful and passionate in her profession creating for us a 48-hour agenda which included getting the most amazing pictures of Mt. Etna from a town three miles North, to reserving a 2-hour 10-person boat excursion from Naxos around Isola Bella and back, such a great day! Most notable was the extravagant daily breakfast (really felt like brunch!) with all the Sicilian favorites and friendly staff preparing fresh baked goods and stewed veggies and bruschetta right in front of us!
