The hotel is well presented, but there are a few things I would like to mention. The soundproofing was very poor—we could hear people at the end of the corridor, as well as in the rooms next to us. Reception did not make any effort to contact us, despite the fact that we didn’t check in on the first day due to our flight being cancelled. There were also no upgrade offers, even though the hotel did not appear to be very busy. The only aspect that worked well was housekeeping—consistently friendly and efficient throughout our stay. My recommendation would be to stay at a hotel chain run by a Western brand.

The hotel was excellent the rooms were extremely well equipped and were up to standards. We were to be checked in at 2pm however when we got there past two we were told that the rooms were not ready and we had to wait a further two hours. The staff are very unfriendly and when they realise that you are a foreigner they try their best to avoid you however they will go beyond for people that speak their language or are their nationality. My daughter had an accident on the hotels stairs outside due to the rain making the steps slippery and not one staff member came out to check on her or help. The other hotels near by had carpets on their stairs to make sure no one slips but even after the accident no improvement was made. The hotel staff are very unfriendly and do not with to communicate with anyone who does not speak the national language and they are very rude. The rooms in general were amazing and our stay was very comfortable but the staff were very rude and our experience with the staff was very disappointing.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Elite World Istanbul Taksim! The location is perfect, the room was clean and spacious, the staff were absolutely amazing, and overall everything exceeded our expectations. A special huge thank you to Hengameh and Ferideh — they were incredibly kind, helpful, and always went the extra mile with big smiles. They truly made our trip special and memorable. The only small suggestion for improvement: unfortunately the Queen bed mattress was not comfortable. Everything else was perfect! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!

This was a very disappointing experience and fell far below our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the entrance were unwelcoming and lacked any sense of hospitality. Our only expectation for this 3-day getaway was a clean room and a comfortable stay, but unfortunately, the hotel failed in the most basic areas. Despite leaving the 'Please Clean' sign on our door the first day, we returned to find the room practically untouched. Only the trash was taken out—the floors were not cleaned, and even the empty hand soap was never refilled. The housekeeping service was a complete failure. To make matters worse, the room was freezing. We explicitly informed the staff that it was too cold to sleep, yet no action was taken and no solution was offered. If you are looking for hygiene, warmth, and professional service, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
