Excellent stay, beautiful hotel, helpful, friendly staff. However, very disappointing continental breakfast, which had to be ordered rather than a buffet, help yourself option. Just cereal, over ‘cooked’ toast and croissants don’t constitute a continental breakfast in a 5* hotel in my view. It didn’t detract from a lovely stay in Chester though!

TV sound is set too low and a coffee machine in the room would have been appreciated. Feel that entry to Spa should be included for guests. Very glad we stayed.
