This is a splurge, but I really enjoy the Fairmont. Staff is very nice. Spa is one of my favorites if you take advantage of the 3 hours before or after in the thermal pool/relaxation areas, golf is amazing but oh so pricey, food in delicious, rooms are beautiful but very small, especially the bathroom. This being our second visit in ten years maintains the quality and experience are lovely, and why we will likely return ten years from now :)

We went to Banff Fairmont for our honeymoon and it was a phenomenal experience. The hotel is exceptional, the staff and service was amazing, and the views are breathtaking. Every meal we had was also delicious. #1 golf course we’ve ever been to. The spa is a must see, make sure you book far in advance. Rhea from the spa treated us like royalty. Highly recommend!!

We and our pets had the most spectacular stay at this hotel. If you have the chance to book Gold status it makes all the difference. The staff and facilities were amazing. Yes the bathrooms are on the small side as this is a UNESCO property so there were limitations in how they could be designed. But everything else was phenomenal. There are so many people we want to thank from Hamish in the valet who greeted us by name! to Chamath, Caitlin, Katie, Georgia, Chris(also in valet) , Olivier, Shane and the best housekeeper Howard! We look forward to coming to visit Banff again as it is truly one of the most spectacular places to go!
