Clean lobby, breakfast area and room. Sheets were clean, the bed a bit hard. Bath was dated and worn but clean. Typical hot breakfast-well stocked. Front desk staff very cordial and friendly.

Not a great experience
The Good: - Staff were helpful and friendly - Price was very affordable - Room was relatively clean and odor free The Bad: - The room was very dated. The bathroom was in somewhat rough condition, so while it was clean, it was not an appealing place to shower. - It was incredibly noisy. Other people said that in their reviews and I ignored it because I am a deep sleeper, but it was SO LOUD. The interstate noise was very difficult to ignore and the hallway was full of people shouting and running around until about 3a. I had my noise up turned all the way up but it was a very noisy night. - While my room was clean, the rest of the hotel was very grungy. Especially the main stairwell - the carpet was filthy and very off putting. In summary, this is a fine hotel if you're trying to save a buck and you're used to roughing it. But compared to the other Wingate on I-75 (about 15 minutes away), this hotel is in very poor condition.

We stayed at this property while we were visiting family and friends in Macon, Ga. The area surrounding the hotel was very convenient with stores such as Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and Kroger. They were in the process of renovation during our stay but the hotel itself was nice and clean. It was quiet and clean and the bed was soft.
