Big Bear Lake and related destinations
Escape to an alpine playground where snow-capped mountains meet a shimmering lake. Carve fresh powder at Snow Summit or Bear Mountain in winter, then trade skis for kayaks when summer arrives. The Village buzzes with après-ski energy and small-town charm year-round. Hike pine-scented trails through San Bernardino National Forest, keeping eyes peeled for bald eagles and black bears. Pine Knot Marina offers boat rentals for lazy lake days, while Meadow Park provides perfect picnic spots. Locals recommend visiting midweek to avoid the weekend surge when this mountain retreat transforms from sleepy town to bustling resort. Don't miss sunset from the lake's north shore, where mountains reflect in waters that seem impossibly blue for Southern California.

Big Bear Lakefront Lodge
"Clean room Balcony"
The Burgundy
"We were happy!! The front Desk were kind generous and extremly helpful"
Snow Lake Lodge
"The place was perfect for our stay!"
Hotel Marina Riviera
"The hotel itself was great. The only problem was that there was no microwave available in our room nor in the coffee room at the hotel lobby. So if you bring food or have leftovers from a restaurant don’t expect to eat it warm again unless you have a suite. Not cool. The majority hotels now a days have both fridge and microwave for their guests. Or available in their coffee or breakfast lounge area. Our fridge in the room broke down and they never got it to work properly during our three day stay. So I may choose a different hotel for my next visit to big bear Lake. I would like to be able to warm my food without breaking the bank. 💯"
N+P Boutique Lodge
"Beautiful property with a very eclectic interior style. It was clean, comfortable and smelled amazing! I will definitely be back!"
Bluegreen Vacations Big Bear Village, an Ascend Collection Resort
"Very clean and spacious. Near by everything. We like it a lot and we’re coming back."
Big Bear Frontier
"The internet does not show that the resort is under construction. We stayed in the hotel portion instead of an individual bungalow. However, we were not disturbed by any construction noise. The hotel section was very nice, clean and had great air conditioning. I would suggest putting a clock on the nightstand. Also, even though checkout is 11am, our key was disabled when we returned from breakfast at 10:45am. We had to drive to the office and get the key reactivated so we could get our belongings. But I would stay there again. It's in a very good location."
Holiday Inn Resort The Lodge At Big Bear Lake by IHG
"Not the most up to date facility but staff was awesome and super helpful rooms had a rustic sky lodge feel that took me back would definitely stay again"
Bear Creek Resort
"I like everything about the cabin. What I needed for my trip."
