Easy overnight stay
It was a great stay; the room had been freshly painted on the inside and had new flooring. The bed was clean and comfy. The quiet room was small but efficient for an overnight or weekend stay. Check-in/out was easy. The banner outside states new management; I think there will likely be outdoor makeovers to match the rooms.

Ok for the game
It’s was ok one mattress had springs popping and coming out when you rolled over. A blow dryer would have been a nice add on and only 2 pillows per bed no where to hang any clothes

Clean but sparse- bring your own pillows & blanket
The positive: very clean (but very sparse) room, comfortable mattress, good shower, quiet room (even though we were at the front of the facility right above the office), AC worked well, less than 2 miles from UF campus The not so positive: very thin “bedspread” and only 2 pillows with no closet in the room with extra pillows or blankets. TV got very poor reception. No vanity in the bathroom - only a pedestal sink so there was no place to set toiletries. Terrible towels. No lobby, only a window-style check in. We were here on a football Saturday night so room rates were high, but not as high as many other places around. I would only pay half as much for this room any other night. To be fair, I did not go down to the check in to ask for extra pillows or blankets. They may have had some for us. All in all, if you come prepared with your own pillows, blankets, and towels for an overnight, it’s fine.

Avoid!
Pictures posted are misleading. Dirty, run down, unpleasant and awful surroundings. Left after one night, knowing I would lose out on the money from the additional two nights I was supposed to be there. Didn’t care, not worth it.

This place is a dump and is an old motel. They have done some remodeling but it’s not worth what they are charging. They are only able to charge this because of the football game, which is basically taking advantage of the consumer. Place isnt worth $50 a night let alone $185/night

Not safe
This was an awful experience. You stay here because it’s cheap, but I’ve never felt so unsafe in a hotel. Loud gatherings all night, they’ve removed deadbolt in room so you can’t lock the door besides the basic handle lock, it’s easy to break in, they know they’re clientele so they need easy access to rooms. Do not stay here, I asked management if they had security cameras and they laughed.

I stayed here one year ago and it was fine, just the basics, but it was just recently purchased by new ownership. They have remodeled all the rooms and it’s night and day, new plumbing/furniture/bedding etc. Great location, very friendly and family owned establishment, and though not fancy it provides all you need for a nice weekend in Gainesville.
