10 minute walk from Guidoni Tram stop. Room ok, beds ok. Strange layout in bath with a towel rail within, where the shower head should be. Not many sockets & zero USB charging sockets. The tilet door on 703 is poorly fitted & only closes with persuasion. Hinges need adjustment. Breakfast not wonderful but very good pastries & coffee. Staff all helpful & mostly spoke excellent English.

Easy taxi ride to airport at 4:30am
I chose Hotel Mirage because it is close to the Florence airport. What really closed the deal was that it has staff at the desk 24 hours a day. We had a 6:00am flight and needed a reliable taxi service. At 4:30am, sure enough, there was a pleasant gentleman who called us a taxi and within minutes the cab was at the door. There is little traffic at 4:30am so we were at the airport in a few minutes. 18 euros. Fantastic!

Clean, walkable to the airport
Read trip advisor reviews for this location and we’re sure we’d have to make another plan. We were pleasantly surprised. Easy walk from tram/bus stop out of Florence. Get directions for walk to the airport. We flew at 6:30 so taxi service was not reliable option. We walked over in 15 min no problem. It was crazy how well lit the streets were! The room was clean bright clean with a big window and small deck. Noisy with the window open but quiet when closed. Yes the walls could stand a coat of paint and the carpet replaced but it’s clean. Water is hot and plentiful. Bathroom spacious. Surrounding neighborhood has a few grocery (google maps listed ones we couldn’t find) and places to eat but they are a good walk away. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a small well stocked bar. Funny couldn’t find snacks or a soda in or near the hotel.

Friendly and accommodating
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, but there was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom in our room and actually around the hotel. We notified the front desk whom was already aware and receiving complaints, and was trying their best to find the issue. Thought it might be a city issue, but we’re trying to be helpful to remedy the issue. The room was clean, but the beds were not very comfortable. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of delicious choices. Shuttle service from the train station was excellent. It was not available for our airport departure, so they set us up with a taxi which was also good and actually less expensive.

This is a good place to stay before heading to the airport for a flight. It's about 15 minute taxi ride to the city center, so not the most convenient for exploring Florence. It was a 5-minute taxi to the airport in the morning, and we were dropped right at the door with no issues.

Our experience at this hotel was awful. Our room looked nothing like the pictures. The bathroom door wouldn't fully close. The shower had mold on the side of the walls and on the celling. There was a huge pillar in the middle of the room, which stopped us from sitting at the desk or using the mirror that was above it properly. The windows could not open and you couldn't see anything out of them. The room and hallways had a moldy odor that could be smelled as soon as you walked in. Please steer clear of this hotel. It is definitely not worth the price.

Worst hotel in the world . Please never book this hotel, not even close to 1star . I don’t know why it says 4star hotel. As soon as you enter in the parking there is a terrible smell and even the reception area is so smelly that you can’t even sit for few min . Carpet everywhere is ripped and dirty ..curtains in the rooms are dirty and ripped washroom doors are broken. Breakfast in the morning was horrible . And worst thing was noise from the other rooms . You can literally hear every time people flush there toilet or take shower in next room .They need to invest some money to renovate the property. But the staff was kind and helpful.
