Beautifully designed hotel, with friendly staff and a vibrant (and not too touristy) neighbourhood. I've stayed in Le Ballu before and think it's now become where I most like to stay in Paris. It's very walkable to, for example, Opera or Montmartre and has a direct metro line to the Notre Dame area, so it's very well located while also being a bit away from the tourist crush. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - an oasis of calm.

This is a beautiful hotel on a pretty, quiet street in an interesting area of Paris. Everyone was very nice and we quire enjoyed our stay. Our room was reasonably large by European standards, and quite well appointed. The courtyard bar/restaurant is very attractive and a wonderful place to have a glass of wine or a nice desert.
