Great location away from loud traffic and tourist hustle. Cafes and restaurants nearby. 25 minutes walk to Louvre. Hotel staff very accommodating. Breakfast delicious with a very nice winter garden. Beautifully designed hotel, with friendly staff and a vibrant (and not too touristy) neighbourhood. I've stayed in Le Ballu before and think it's now become where I most like to stay in Paris. It's very walkable to, for example, Opera or Montmartre and has a direct metro line to the Notre Dame area, so it's very well located while also being a bit away from the tourist crush. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - an oasis of calm.
