We booked Hotel Duus as a last minute stay after flights were canceled in and out of Iceland. The location is great, right on the water, close to restaurants and near a grocery store. This hotel is not staffed, there is no one at the desk, you check yourself in with the code sent to you by email. It is convenient, however, if there is an issue, you are not able to get in touch with anyone except by email. We had 2 rooms, in one room, we were unable to open the door to the patio and there was old noodles in the hot water reservoir of the coffee pot. There was dirt on the bedding, as if the bed was just remade instead of replacing the bedding from the last guests.
