Rooms are very small, doghair, the bathroom was „installed „ in the room open to the roof, the sinck „the minisink“ in the room and not in the bathroom. Far too expensive for what it is, it was also very loud. Thanks to staff it was getting quite at 10pm.

We had a short stay. There is no check-in staff, so make sure to check your email for check-in information. The staff at the restaurant was able to help us. Ultimately we enjoyed our stay it is in a convenient location, great places to eat within walking distance, super close to the airport. If you are looking for 5 star this isn't the place, it is an older hotel that definitely shows it's age, but it was clean and we felt safe.

Great location- it is close to a small downtown with a lot of restaurant and grocery options. It was also very close to the car rental and airport. The view to the ocean is great. The hotel looks old and tired at first but we've grown to like it. It has everything you need and the condition is clean. Even though the staff was not there (it is self-check in system); however, the room service person was considerate and added sheet and pillow for our extra bed.

There isn't any staff to help, none that I noticed but I was aware of this while I booked. Got my code and easily got in my room. Fairly cute and very comfortable. The area has a walking path just outside of it that I briefly utilized. Was only here for one night so I can't really say much else in regards to the town. The walls however are paper thin. I hear this about other hotels but this one felt like our neighbors were in the room with us. Glad I didn't need to stay longer. Hence the one star removal. Had a restaurant attached which is very convenient but also didn't check it out.

Got here in the early evening after flight from Milan. The attached restaurant served us tasty fish dinners and beer, just what was needed for a good night’s sleep before heading back to Denver in the morning. This was a no frills hotel room, but it had everything needed for an overnight stay.

This hotel gets lower marks than the property itself would warrant for two reasons. First there is NO staff around. They send you a code that lets you into your room and the hotel front door when the restaurant is closed. When I was packing my luggage to check out the code wouldn't let me back in. Someone came from off property and let us in after a bit. Secondly my room was quite hot all night despite the window being open. But if you just need a place to crash before of after your flight it is clean and quiet.

Nice, clean and good location. There is no amenities in the room. It's a self check in and out place, so no one at front desk to help. Try to use the front desk phone to call taxi, but didn't work. Luckily, the cleaning guy was there and used his cell to call the taxi for me.

Needed a lot of cleaning in the balcony There were few old beer cans and glass bottles that seemed to have been there for months. Overpriced but convenient location. Restaurant was decent with relaxing views, where the locals would be frequenting as well.

The hotel was good There is no staff. We self checked in. There is no airport shuttle, we rented a car at the airport. Drove to Reykjavik for dinner, that worked well

It is a self check in hotel which made it seem a little cold — hardly any staff. The rooms are good size with good showers. The front door slammed very loudly every time it closed which woke us up each time.

As others have said, it’s essentially not staffed save for the restaurant when it is open. The room was OK but bright street lights mad it bright at night. It had a shared balcony but as it was raining so didn’t get to enjoy the view. On our arrival we needed to check/ store our luggage but since there is no staff, you need to put it in a very small storage area behind a very small door in an un lit room. Parking was free and easy to access. The location is just off city center and is walkable, especially in good weather. The town has some charm and offers a variety of entertainment and dining options. In all, it was reasonably clean, and in a nice location. If you don’t require assistance and are good with no- frills this is a good option

Reception unattended. Was given code for front door and room. Lock for front door was not working (unlocked 24/7). Door locks was difficult to operate. Room very hot. Seems like heating cables was on, and unable to adjust nor turn off. Hole in bed sheets. The positive was that the resturant was open during the evening and very good food and service, and close to the airport. Good shower.

We chose this hotel due to this location close to the airport (convenient), but the price jumped 100% from day to day due to some activities on Island (book early!). Walls on the entrance leaking water/towels, carpets on hallways dirty, room poorly cleaned, balcony filthy, furniture peeling, beds on the wheels (even the main beds?) could not be pushed together. The only thing nice was the view to the marina. No instructions in early check-in and had to wait even though there was clearly noone working and the room must have been cleaned early. Sign on reception says rooms can be entered at 14, clearly not true, only after 15. Phone at the desk to call for any issues /helped with check-in at 14:30/ and you can book taxi. Entrance to the hotel supposed to be via the code, but had toilet paper roll and later the lock covered with tape so anyone could enter (understand if it was due to restaurant hours, but it was even when it was closed), did not feel safe. Overall would not recommend, would never go there again.

The room was on two levels that might be a problem if you have mobility issues. It was fine, although it is older and has suffered wear and tear. It's a handy location, that does outweigh any specific issues. The check-in was fine, this seems to be how most places work that are not hotels. The Duus restaurant is under the same roof and had a sociable atmosphere with tasty food. We thought the menu was expensive, but it was pretty much the same as any restaurant in Iceland There's plenty of parking at the front.

The hotel is in a nice enough location, close to airport and on the main street in Keflavík, near a few eateries. What a surprise it was though, to find out that the hotel reception is not staffed. At all, during any point in time. You have to call a number to get access code to property. The restaurant, bar, and cafe weren’t open though the person on the phone providing the access code said that they should be. Turns out the hours are super limited. The room itself had a nice view and was large enough, but there were stairs between sleeping area and bathroom. The area around the hotel, including the adjacent museum, was pretty dead. Wouldn’t stay there again.
