Unfortunately, this was probably one of the dirtiest rooms we have stayed in compared with other hotels and Airbnbs in Osaka. We found multiple bugs, visible dust and dirty spots around the room, including inside the sliding Japanese-style doors, and what even appeared to be blood stains on the blanket. One of the main reasons we booked a larger room was because we were travelling with a baby and wanted enough space for him to crawl and walk around. However, due to the cleanliness of the room and floor, we did not feel comfortable letting our child crawl or walk around freely. We were also disappointed with the communication. Our travel plans changed and we wanted to extend our stay by one night. We messaged the hotel twice beforehand but received no response. Since we later received confirmation, we assumed we could stay in the same room. However, upon arrival, we were told we had to move to another room for the additional night, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and conflicted with our plans. Had the hotel replied earlier, we could have made alternative arrangements. This situation was completely avoidable with better communication. We do appreciate the customer service staff who assisted us. They were friendly, polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and poor communication made the overall experience disappointing.

The second time I selected here. The exhaust is noisy as same as last stay at different floor. No spare rubbish bin bags. Others are fine. Car park, tax free drug store, 711, FM, GUSTO, rent a car shop, Metro and etc are nearby. Environment is safe for family even walk outside at night. Room is large enough to open 3 luggages, still have space, corridor and dinning room and sofa for my family total 3 persons. Comparing many many hotels and B&B, Takuto Stay is recommended.

The only complaint I had was that the washer/dryer took forever to dry my clothes which I get it because Japan is different from USA. Other than that, great stay. Would recommend.

Pros: • Spacious enough to comfortably accommodate a family of 7 • Conveniently located near the train station Cons: • No email confirmation sent with check-in instructions • Phone support was friendly but gave incorrect passwords and unclear guidance, causing delays during check-in • The space was very dirty and dusty • Pillows were uncomfortable and need upgrading • Sheets and mattresses need to be cleaner • Not enough utensils provided for a family of 7

The property is ok. It does have a nice bathroom, washing machine, and air conditioner. The negatives are that is was pretty dusty in some places, like it hadn’t been fully cleaned, and the beds were pretty cheap, one of them being partially held together with a zip tie. Also the area is pretty rundown. A few blocks away it is much nicer. I would stay here again if I had to, but would much prefer other places a few blocks away.

Positive: 1. Nice ambiance and surroundings 2. Clean and fresh 3. Supporting staff 4. Good for family Negative: 1. Bit far away from station 2. Semi double bed were not enough for two so it was challenging to manage 5 people with 2 bed and sofa

You get what you pay for. For the price it is a very reasonable stay, the biggest problem for me was the cleanliness of the AC and the balcony. This is an unmanned facility so I don’t believe they clean as well as other hotels, but other than the AC being very dusty everything else was fine. A very average hotel room but spacious. If you have the budget I would recommend some place else, but this is by no means a bad place to stay. It is a budget hotel

2/10 Poor

Beware staying at this property there is no staff on property. The room had a horrible sewer smell in the shower and bathroom. It stunk so bad that we could not use the bathroom or shower for two days. They came to clean the bathroom but It did not help. We are in process trying to obtain a refund. The staff does not speak any English and they have zero staff on property if there is any issue. Do not stay here unless you like dirty rooms and speak Japanese. The entire room smelled of sewer. Do not stay !

Hotel was great but the check in process could be much improved. It took very long to check in and there were multiple repeated steps. For example, the hotel required to verify passports twice--first by taking a picture of it and upload it, then it also required to verify theough a live virtual agent once again. And each person was required to do so. We were standing in a very small area with multiple luggages and this process was extremely cumbersome. I don’t mind the virtual registration but they should not make us repeat the same regisprocess twice.
