It has a lot going for it — especially the location. It’s right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, IFS, shopping, restaurants, and the metro. The room itself was also good. But the bathroom/toilet was a major problem. It was old, dirty, and poorly maintained — stained, grimy, and with an unpleasant smell. It felt like a 1-star toilet in an otherwise 5-star hotel. For this brand and price point, that is simply unacceptable. Cleanliness in the bathroom is basic, and this really ruined the experience. Excellent location and convenient transportation, the facilities are good. However, truly wondering why cleanliness is kept at that low level, hair around the sink, dead mosquito stuck on the washroom glass wall, tissues were all wet, water stain in the bathroom etc. Was looking at reviews from other platforms and saw same comments all over the place. Hilton should really do a check on these hotels before harming its own reputation any further in Asia.

Modern and chic hotel design, room is just awesome, so cosy, comfy, solid Tempur mattress, that we had many good night rest at Canopy. It would be great if it has a swimming pool. Location of hotel is superb, walking distance to Tianfu Square for shopping / meals, we visited Chengdu museums and several others all within hotel vicinity. Good to return and stay here again.
