Rome and related destinations

Toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain and legend promises your return to this eternal city. The Colosseum stands as a magnificent ruin where you can almost hear ancient crowds roaring. Vatican Museums house artistic treasures culminating in Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, where necks crane upward in collective awe. Spanish Steps offer perfect people-watching while enjoying gelato that makes commercial ice cream seem like a sad compromise. Piazza Navona's baroque fountains provide theatrical backdrops for espresso sipping. The Pantheon's perfect dome still defies architectural logic two millennia later. Even Rome's ordinary corners reveal extraordinary fragments of history – ancient columns casually incorporated into medieval buildings as if history were simply a practical building material.

Aria Palace by OMNIA Hotels

Aria Palace by OMNIA Hotels

10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean and the bathroom was a good size. I liked that they had mirror in both the bathroom and in the bedroom making it easier for multiple people to get ready in the morning. The staff was helpful and was able to get us into our room prior to the set check-in time. Convenient location with restaurants nearby. It was always easy to get a taxi from the front entrance."

"Very helpful and pleasant staff. This hotel has an on-site restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast included with the hotel booking was very good. We had dinner here two nights, and all four of us loved our meals. The outdoor seating area was very pleasant. The hotel is a little bit of a hike from the center of Rome, but their shuttle service was good. We would return to this hotel if back in Rome."

Fabulous Village

Fabulous Village

10/10 Excellent
"Overall. It’s wonderful. It’s a nice change from hotels with a bit more space. It has a nice park and the pool area is great. The pool makes the whole place worth it. It’s a great way to cool down. The staff are friendly and kind. Zero complaints about i. The only complaints are: There is zero way to contact them via phone if you need to. You’ll get in an AI loop and then hung up on. The pool is only open from 10AM-8PM. It’s too hot in Rome to have such limited hours. Check in takes forever and the only benches are in the sun. And people are smoking non-stop at the pool in your face and your kids faces - especially when you are in the chairs at the pool. It’s 2026 - it should really be non-smoking. It’s disgusting."

This way, you’re more likely to seize great opportunities for a spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a more favourable rate for your stay in a hotel in Rome. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
