"A short shuttle ride from the ferry terminal brought us to a beautifully ornate lobby, the kind that makes you stand a little straighter so you don’t look like the scruffy tourist you actually are. Check‑in was quick, and came with a cold welcome drink, always a promising start. Although check‑in is normally at 2 PM, we’d taken the early ferry to avoid the afternoon seas, which tend to get a bit too enthusiastic. The staff had a beachfront room ready almost immediately. The location is absolutely fantastic. Waves rolling onto the shore made for a relaxing backdrop, and while the occasional bit of traffic drifted by, it never really intruded. The room was spotless, fresh, cool, and not a single mosquito or mystery insect lurking in a corner. The air conditioner worked perfectly, the fridge kept our drinks cold, and we had three pools to choose from. That’s two more than I usually need. Breakfast was warm, hygienic, and offered plenty of variety. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced, which is always a pleasant surprise when you’re staying somewhere with a stunning view. And the staff, friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Five stars for them alone. A few small dogs may wander the beach, all healthy and harmless. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for everything."
