Good price for the spacious room and centric location. Breakfast was definitely not their best feature. Very few selections and bad rotations. Sometimes there was hardly any food on the trays. Good thing is there are options. Nearby restaurants or a kitchen and refrigerator in the rooms. Overall, good stay with friendly staff.

Nice place very clean, staff especially the Manager all very nice. Easy to get a Taxi at the hotel. Bed was very good, king size and firm not saggy. Plenty of closet space. Bathroom good size. What needs improvement. The room safe is too small for a 14" laptop, NO instructions on how to use the safe. Microwave in room very strange could not figure how to use it, again Instructions needed. Room door locks different but once you learn how to use them ok. BREAKFAST - Really not good. Hot Water and Instant Coffee. Some empanadas that are cold (no microwave in the food area) and they are not marked as to what the empanadas are. People preparing breakfast have no rush or desire to get food out. Food sometimes 7am it is out and sometimes 7:30am almost nothing, the breakfast personnel are oblivious and need to be replaced ASAP. Eggs, no scrambled eggs, just COLD sliced omelete pieces and COLD hard boild eggs no sausage or bacon. BEWARE - REQUEST a Room in the 1st Floor or 2nd Floor. There is No Water Pump in the building and NO water pressure on the "4th floor" and marginal on the 3rd. First night I was on the 4th, could not shower the next morning. Good pressure 1st floor. Would I stay here agaim, YES, definitely.

The employees were very friendly and responsive to questions or requests. The place was not clean in different areas. The suite was totally different from pictures of the property. The pool was dirty we could not swim in it as we planned to do and the picture of the pool on the listing was totally different from the actual pool condition; there was trash on it and the floor of the pool looked like mildew or mold had built up. The supplies in the kitchen were limited to 1 fork 1 knife: we had to eat with spoons. There were three of us yet only two chairs for the table. The hair dryer burnt the first time we used it and because of the weekend it took about 2 days to get another one. The drain on the shower did not work well and water would come out onto the bathroom’s floor. The advertised breakfast was mediocre at best. Not as it was portrayed to be. I have photos I would like to submit. Because of this we decided to leave early and I was penalized for it. I feel I should be compensated with a refund instead as the property did not look nor had the amenities listed and was in poor condition. We wanted to spend time at the pool but the grout all mildewed. The pictures I have the bottom is black from it. You have to go blocks away to get anything and the park next to it had men around it all night. At 3am I went out the front of the hotel, sliding glass door open, I yelled out but no workers around and my room door was 25 feet away with a door that can easily be picked open.

This is the perfect hotel to stay at while staying in Santa Cruz…look no further because everything was perfect!!! Very hospitable, kind, and understanding. The location of this hotel is absolutely top-notch, making it a perfect base. The service is also great, with a very attentive and helpful team. The only downside is the breakfast: While it is very cheap, for anyone who values high-quality food, it’s honestly entirely skippable. Do yourself a favor and spend your mornings grabbing a proper bite at one of the local cafes or bakeries nearby instead.

My daughter thought she was booking a motel in Santa Cruz California. Obviously she was mistaken. So we didn't even stay at this hotel. It sure does look like a wonderful place.
