"Stop forcing me to write a review!"
Woodbury Park Hotel and Golf Club
"A nice place and comfort one night stay. A nice breakfast"
St Andrews Hotel
"Nice independent hotel. As others have mentioned the noise from the road is so loud and constant. But if you have some decent ear plugs that shouldn't stop you staying here. Great location for dinner at the Quay and free parking. O ly slight downside was having to pay £10 for a lost room card whilst standing watching them put a newpiece of plastic in the machine to allocate to room. This shouldn't really be £10 as the rooms are probably expensive enough. I'd probably stay again but mainly because of the location and parking. Staff are pleasant enough. Breakfast ok - altho the sausages were as cheap as chips."
Hotel Indigo Exeter by IHG
"Lovely hotel, great rooms and such comfy beds. It was a warm night and the air con was very good. I’ve stayed here a few times now and the only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is that I’m starting to notice a few minor maintenance issues creeping in such as some mould in the shower that hasn’t been cleaned. Apart from that though very much recommended and I look forward to my next visit, 🙂"
Mercure Exeter Southgate Hotel
"Great for families. The snack area near reception is great and pool is perfect and very chill and quiet. Lovely breakfast."

"Excellent service at check in. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and the option of opting out of the daily room cleaning in exchange for a glass of wine!"

- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre typically tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Exeter's outstanding public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money available.
