Ancient streets glow with colourful lanterns illuminating centuries-old Chinese merchant houses in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Japanese Bridge stands as testament to the town's trading past, while the Thu Bon River offers perfect sunset boat rides. Sample Vietnam's best banh mi from street carts before exploring the Hoi An Historic Museum. The Ancient Town reveals a fascinating blend of Vietnamese and foreign architectural influences. When the lantern-shopping grows tiresome, escape to An Bang Beach or Cua Dai Beach for relaxation. Don't miss the nearby My Son ruins, a cluster of abandoned temples that provide a glimpse into the region's ancient Cham civilisation.

"Good location with a 5-10 walk to river and night market street. 15 minutes to Japanese bridge. Pool was good with lifeguard on duty. Breakfast options were very good. Room was comfortable. Convenience stores a few minutes away. Would stay again."

"Excellent location, easy walking distance to old town & markets."
Namia River Retreat - Wellness Inclusive Resort
"I think I found the best resort in Hoi An during my third trip to Vietnam. Because it wasn't very large, it felt even more private, and I loved how clean and tidy the facilities were. A dedicated manager was assigned upon check-in, and they even came to our room to kindly show us everything, starting with how to turn on the lights. I would like to thank Tuyen, our dedicated manager, so much. I was so grateful that she resolved everything for us, even when we contacted her via KakaoTalk late at night. There were various programs within the resort, and I already miss Rin, who gave us such a fun ride on the coconut boat. We had an 8-year-old daughter, and I would also like to thank Trinh, who always looked after her warmly in the kids' room and read books to her. I don't know when my next trip to Hoi An will be, but I definitely want to come back to this resort and meet Tuyen, Trinh, and Rin again. It was such a happy time."
Hotel Royal Hoi An Danang, The Legacy Riverfront Resort & Spa

"Lovely staff. So helpful and in my opinion a great location - near enough to walk to the main sights but a little bit away from the busiest parts"
Wyndham Garden Hoi An Cua Dai Beach
"It was a nice stay until while we were out staff cleaned ? our room and left the door wide open. It was still open when we came back after entire day out! They check camera and that was the explanation. Otherwise staff in reception were very nice & helpful, clean pleasant hotel, very good breakfast"
Almanity Hoi An Resort & Spa
"A really great hotel and spa, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were attentive and helpful. Underrated point: the AC at this hotel is the best of anywhere we’ve stayed at in Vietnam, which is an extremely useful feature!! The entire room was ice cold."
La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa
"Outstanding hotel. Rooms are excellent and very spacious. 3 lovely pools. Free bikes to make use of. Absolutely lovely staff."
