Most comfortable bed!! Good location
We have just stayed at Mail Sunrise. We had a Balinese suite which was on the top floor of a small 2 storey block. I was under the impression we were getting a stand alone bungalow but once we entered the room I was happy! It was beautiful. Bigger than the villa bungalows and after looking around the resort I think I preferred ours. Larger and more private. The room was stunning. Large and spotless. Beautiful comfy bed, soft pillows and linen, great bathroom and large balcony. We had a fridge, pool towels and daily bottled water.
The resort was nice. Breakfast offered several choices and was served 7-10.30.
There are a few sun loungers on the small area outside the bar. There is no beach at high tide which makes it feel a bit tight around that area.
The pool is pretty. Cleaned in the morning free of leaves etc, but in the afternoon it could have done with another sweep. Plenty of beds around the pool.
Reception staff there till 5pm. After that the bar staff are around till 19pm then there is an emergency phone number.
The best things for us were the room itself and the location of the resort.
South end of Sunrise do less congested with people and boats.
10 mins walk to Walking Street and a motorbike taxi outside most times we wanted one.
20 min walk up Sunrise beach to Zodiac where people go to watch the sunset. Beach bars all along this route.
