Other than the housekeeping, my stay was nice. Staff were accommodating even giving me tips on which churches to visit while there. The food at their restaurant was delicious but watch out for the carbonara…it was a little too salty for my taste but the flavor was great. Every other dish was amazing. The bar staff was top notch and always filled my Brumate with ice before my daily excursions into Rome. Workout room was clean and well stocked with towels. Their pool was the perfect recovery for my average 17,000 steps per day.

We stayed for our last night at your hotel…. It was very clean nice, and everything we needed for the last day. easy to reach by car and to get to airport. The breakfast was amazing and staff there very nice and helpful….we did not fin the receptionist very serviceminded but it does not affect the fact that we liked the hotel🇮🇹.

Everything was lovely. The only complaint we have was that the shuttle bus was expensive into Rome and that it didn't run more often. We had to resort to public transport into Rome which was time consuming and a 12 minute walk to hotel from bus stop on quite an unnerving road. The hotel and staff themselves we couldn't fault.

Family of 3 (Travelling with 5 year old) We upgraded to a junior suite which was perfect space for our family - the rooms were very clean and it had everything we needed. Bath tubs, extra amenities when we needed it, large beds, balconies. The food was great, we tried the hotel restaurant for dinner time and as my child is fussy they were able to accommodate simple meals. Breakfast: selection of quality food! Everything you need - staff are super friendly and kind too. Pool area! Exceptional and the poolside service is great too! Location is great too - however we did have a car so we travelled aprox 15-20 mins to all the sites etc. The only thing missing here is a spa! I would 100% stay here again and plan to do so this September when we visit again! Great stay altogether!!! Thank you

Formerly the Hotel Midas, Barceló Roma feels like an unsuccessful renovation of a large 1980s hotel. Old, stained carpeting in the corridors, outdated elevators, and dated architectural details undermine the property's appearance. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. Despite four receptionists being on duty, check-in took around 20 minutes. We were given two key cards that did not work and, after returning to reception, discovered that the room assigned to us did not match our reservation (twin beds instead of a double). It took almost an hour from arrival to finally access the correct room. The lack of professionalism at reception continued later that evening. When we asked to charge two bottles of water to our room, we were told we had to pay immediately. After paying, the receptionist still asked for our room number, which made the whole interaction feel unnecessary and rather unprofessional. The rooms are simple but renovated with modern furnishings. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, and cleanliness is good. The clientele is mostly international, and the atmosphere feels more like a budget holiday resort than a first-class hotel. The pool is pleasant and managed by friendly staff, although the sun deck is completely shaded by mid-afternoon. Breakfast, while varied, is below the standard expected for a hotel of this category, with many industrially produced items. Overall, this is one of the most disappointing Barceló hotels

We were a family of four and had two rooms. The rooms were clean and big enough. Staff were helpful expecially the kitchen staff. Reception staff didn't smile and make you feel welcome. I didn't get response to the messages I sent the hotel. The air conditioner and fridges didn't cool much. The breakfast was nice. Pool was nice as well. My main downside was the cost to reach the main attractions. We spent quite a bit for transport. However, it was an enjoyable holiday.

The hotel is undergoing construction so the grounds have gated off areas. The pool is very nice but there is an additional charge if you would like to use the daybeds. It was very difficult to get to from the airport, taking more than 1.5 hours and having to walk, travel by train, and bus. Not a convenient location for travelers without a car. The breakfast was very, very good with a huge variety of foods, fresh omelets made to order, a coffee bar, etc. The front desk staff was friendly but several other people in the restaurant were not. Fine as a overnight but not a true resort style hotel.

The hotel is very new and so everything is beautiful. The staff were all very pleasant. We were in room 735. The room was very clean, well thought out with a lovely king size bed. The parking is very useful as we had a hire car and knowing it was safe over night is important. The only thing that we were not at all happy about were the chips we ordered in the bar on floor zero, we should have sent them back immediately as they were full of oil and soggy, and we both had great difficulty in digesting them…our bad.
