Village Family Motor Inn

Village Family Motor Inn

8/10 Good
"My son and I stayed at the Motor Inn for 4 nights. The room itself had quite a bit of space in it with two beds - one queen & the other single. The bed that I slept on was unfortunately a bit hard & made my back sore. There was also power points but not enough next to the beds. Two little bed side tables were a great idea. There was also a small table & 2 chairs and tea making facilities with kettle & toaster. The shower was slightly temperamental but once adjusted the temperature was great. It would have been nice if the toilet roll holder was placed in a better location as everytime I used it I had to twist my body and the metal holder would fall off. Then hence I was continually reach to pick it up from the floor. Our bin was overflowing as no one came to change it. It was quite noisy as our room was located right at the back of the inn. One morning a truck came at about 5.30 am & made a crashing sound and woke us up. My son & I enjoyed the pool and spa which were both nice and warm. Each Room had it's own vertical parking which was enough for our hired vehicle. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back thanks."

Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Launceston hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised touch and sometimes even better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Launceston's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that still offers convenient access. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even little-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found.
