st, There were a number of road works around the property, making it extremely difficult to navigate to, whilst not the fault of the property, an email to warn of this and offer an alternative route would have been useful.
nd, The check in was not smooth, the receptionist was brusque, taking over 10 minutes to find my booking on Expedia, despite it being booked and paid for in full !
rd, We were shown to our room by an elderly gent who had to walk up the stairs as there was no room in the lift, he simply unlocked the door, and threw the key on the desk without a word, turned and left - not very friendly at all.
th, The room was very basic, no tea/coffee making facilities.
th We went for a walk around the town to get a cup of coffee, and returned to hotel to have dinner, only to be told that the restaurant was fully booked, despite there being at least 10 or more empty tables - we were then told that we should have pre booked, if we had been advised to do so.
th, Breakfast was awkward - due to the table of 24 that had been laid down the middle of the dining room making the one and only coffee machine in-accessible and the Juice machine even more in-accessible
All in all - not a very pleasant or enjoyable stay
