"An amazing place to stay. The staff are super friendly and nice, while the hotel garden is as good as any botanical garden, with plenty of turtles and lizards. A bit far from the town, but takes 7$ and 20 min to get there, so not an issue."

"Family running the hotel were very nice and it’s in a nice quiet area. The hotel owner can drop you off/pick you up at Puerto Ayora and from the boat pier. "

"My stay was perfect at the hostal. The owners were really nice and helpful. They also recommended activities and places and helped me arrange my itinerary to take advantage of all my days in Galapagos. On top of that they provided me with tours and tickets for the ferries to visit the other islands. "

"This was the most disappointing hotel we have ever booked through hotels.com. The largest concern was the inability to connect with someone when a problem arises, as there was a young girl at the desk unable to assist us and we were unable to reach the owners via email or phone. They misrepresented themselves as having a city view, but are actually situated next to a container truck lot and a petroleum filling staton. Also, there was a loud groaning noise in the hotel until 8:00 pm. At night....

"Owner was friendly and helpful but the hotel or B&B grossly overpriced! The neighborhood was away from the tourist area and the outside of the hotel was unappealing. The 10 minute walk to Darwin Street was in a poor section, an old mattress lying about. Breakfast was good. The reception area was poor. I have photos. Worth about $40 a night not the $110 l prepaid and could not cancel reservation "

"White House Galapagos was a nice, clean place to stay. It’s nothing fancy and the front desk is usually empty but for a budget place to stay it does the job! "

"Basic hotel, fine for 1-2 nights. Out of the tourist strip but in a good area for street food, markets & local shops. Bonus it had a lift which many hotels in the Galapagos didn’t seem to have, also free drinking water."

"Dennis the owner was lovely and very helpful. The bed was super comfy, the shower hot and with good pressure and the breakfast was nice and healthy. Thank you! "
"I was very pleased with Blu Galapagos. The rooms were very clean, great view, very helpful staff. My only recommendation would be to not use the tour company in the hotel. I booked a tour after being very specific in what I wanted to see. I was assured it was possible but once I arrived the tour guide explained there was not enough time within my limited time to see what I came for. Very disappointed. Was not offered any refund or other compensation. The tour was not inexpensive and feel I was completely lied to and intentionally misled. "
"One of three days water in entire building was shut off. Had to wait for several hours for water to return. Though Owner and family are very nice people"
