The room was clean and location is great. However, the placement of the air conditioner was horrible, right behind the curtain that you that blocked all the air and kept the room warm. I somehow managed to lift the curtain up and manually tied it in a knot, but that meant closing the windows (that didn’t fully close and made the room bright at 6:00 a.m.) Also, didn’t like the fact that there were no “real people” available for any assistance. An AI WhatsApp chat is your local guide and not essentially very helpful.

This hotel is in an old stylish building. The rooms have been very well renovated. It was clean and today with everything we needed. There was a common room which was very well renovated and we were very happy with it. Our hostess Stefania was most helpful and hospitable. She made us feel at home. This boutique hotel gave very clear instructions from start to finish. It was very efficient.

I was able to check in early upon arrival. Location was very clean, secure and quiet, which was a huge plus. I traveled alone as this was my first visit to Rome. My entire stay at New Design was magnificent! The room was beautiful, very cozy…high ceilings, a hot tube, great a/c and heat, wonderful housekeeping staff, a spectacular bathroom, big screen, outside elevator…I can go on and on! Stefania and Valeria even helped me booked a taxi to FCO at an awesome rate! I truly cannot say enough good things about New Design…I’m definitely gonna stay there again on my next visit to Rome (very soon)!

Walking distance to Vatican Museum, St. Peter's Basilica and Metro A station and other tourist areas. The area has lots of nearby restaurants. The room is clean and descent in size.
