A wonderful little hotel, with welcoming, extremely helpful staff. Everything was spotlessly clean and our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is well-located, away from the crowded centre, but still within easy walking distance of many of the main attractions, and with plenty of good eating options nearby. Also very convenient to the main train station and the Repubblica Metro station (handy for visiting the Vatican City).

Our trip to Rome got off to a very unexpected start. An airline delay meant we arrived two days late, and, our luggage didn’t arrive with us! We had very little time in Rome and were facing a pretty stressful situation. From the moment we arrived at Hotel Cellini, the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Not only did they patiently help us with suggestions on where we could shop for the essentials we needed, but when we asked—very late the night before—if they could help arrange a private tour for the following day, they went above and beyond. Incredibly, they pulled everything together and arranged a wonderful tour from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Thanks to their help, we were able to see the sights that were most important to us and make the most of our limited time in Rome. We could not have organized this on our own, especially on such short notice. The kindness, patience and genuine care shown by the staff meant so much to us during what had been a very stressful start to our trip. They truly went above and beyond to help us, and we will always remember how they turned a difficult situation into a wonderful day in Rome. We are grateful and would highly recommend Hotel Cellini!
