It was great and I would stay again. The breakfast basket in the morning was cute. Two couples or less would be comfortable with the two separate bedrooms.

What you see is not what you get!!!
I chose this apartment based on the picture above. We arrived early and asked if our room was available. Initially they said there was someone in the room/apartment, but shortly after, we were told we could go in early. We were thrilled. Went to the room/apt. and to our surprise, this place looked nothing like what I had paid for and the picture on our reservation. Upon further discussion, the gentleman stated, yes, for that place, the price is more, in a different building and with an elevator. I told him this is false advertisement and am upset. He stated I should discuss this with, but unfortunately that room is not available. We were only staying for two nights, short vacation, and since it was a clean, we decided to grin and bear it. did reimburse me a small portion, which was not acceptable. Please see attached picture showing the living space. Very disappointing. If there are multiple choices of apartments, that should be specified and a picture of each available so as to be able to choose the one you want. Lastly, if you want a quiet night's sleep, this is not the place for you. This is a party area of Lisbon and people are in the streets until the wee hours of the morning. Think Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. On a positive note, the staff remained lovely.

Full One Bedroom Apartment
I wasn't sure to believe the description or not, but the room was a complete one bedroom apartment, including a pullout couch in the living room. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, utensils, etc. The room was said to be about 450 sq. ft., which was amazing as I noticed there were similarly priced hotel rooms in the area with only one-third of the space. Continental breakfast is brought to the room each morning, and you can store any leftovers in the refrigerator. They do service the rooms daily, though they only replace sheets and towels once per week. That being said, I was there once when the room was serviced and they were happy to give me a new towel. Speaking of towels, they were quite thin and not plush at all. This isn't all that unusual in European hotels, but a nicer quality of towel would have been a plus. The staff recommended the nearby Restaurante Alfaia, which on Wednesday serves a fabulous special dish. I couldn't get the exact name, but it's like a pot au feu with many types of pork, vegetables, rice, etc. I ordered a half portion for 12 euros and it could have fed three people. The hotel is close to the busiest tourist areas of Lisbon, but is itself in an area of small pedestrian streets. So noise was not a problem, but I was there in January. Can't say what it would be like in August. Overall, a very nice place that I would definitely stay in again.
