Hotel Presidente
"The staff was exceptional: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Loved every minute of my stay at the Presidente Hotel."
DREAM By Stannum Hotel
"Overall the experience was very nice! Not too expensive for foreign travel!"
Hotel Sagarnaga
"Hotel Sagarnaga is in an excellent location right in the middle of all the action on Calle Sagarnaga. Our stay was smooth overall, featuring an easy check-in and check-out, reliable luggage storage, and a decent breakfast spread to start the day. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. On the downside, the rooms were a little small and lack some basic amenities like a hairdryer, while the provided space heater felt a bit small as well. Additionally, while the staff did call us a taxi for the airport, they weren't very helpful with coordinating the transfer details which meant we had to organise our own transport instead. Overall, it is an okay option for a short stay."

"Perfect start to our Bolivian Adventure"
El Museo Hotel Boutique
"This hotel has been great value for money. Centrally located, safe to walk to and from. Close to El Prado, La Paz´s main venue. Breakfast is good, staff are very helpful, beds are comfortable and the shower in the morning is hot (pressure can be an issue). Persons with respiratory/mobility challenges may find Aspiazu and Guachaya (the two streets that lead to the Hotel) difficult as they are quite a steep uphill walk."

Hotel Rey Palace
"Good service and got the job done"
Hotel LP Columbus
"I enjoyed everything about this property. The only thing that could use an improvement is the breakfast food. I wish there were more protein options. The rooms, staff, and wi-fi were all great. Javier was always helpful and courteous."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary due to factors including the hotel's location, star rating and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a La Paz hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised stay and sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will indicate if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a more appealing option.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to La Paz's excellent public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money.
