This inn is privately owned and it shows in the pride and personal service that is provided to guests. We came in at 10PM, and were warmly greeted. We asked for a ground floor room and one was assigned to us, instead of the second floor room that was held with the reservation. The room was so clean, smelled great, and warm on a very cold winter evening! The hotel was quiet, off the main road, and we slept well. Breakfast was comparable to the chain hotels. Bagels, waffles, cereal, eggs and sausage, coffee, hot cocoa, milks, yogurt...something for everyone. We came to breakfast at 8:30am and we were informed we were the only guests left in the hotel so we should eat all we desired! I am certain that next weekend, as the world awaits Phil, the groundhog, the hotel will be packed with guests who will enjoy great hospitality from true hoteliers.

Per the pictures and the descriptions, the pool area should have a hot tub or rooms are described as having a whirlpool. The front desk clerk (who was very nice) told me they do not have any hot tubs and the rooms that had the hot tubs were upgraded with Cooktops. I specifically booked the hotel because of the hot tub..I did not want to sit on a cookplate as a consolation!! Otherwise the hotel was nice.. just blantant misrepresentation.

You want fancy? Not here. It’s solid. Quiet place, cool staff, relaxed atmosphere, clean everywhere (even during some renovation work in the lobby). Not many motels like this one left…Reasonable price, no frills, comfortable .

Staff was very friendly and informative, room was nice and clean, and breakfast options were great. If I had to find falut, the only thing I didn't love was the indoor pool was very cold.
