Certainly one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. The location is quiet with a beautiful view. The lodge itself and the rooms are extremely nice with a cozy ambience. The owners were very friendly and gave us a lot of tips. We only stayed one night there but at the end we wished we could have stayed longer.

The property is like stepping into a luxurious game lodge from a bygone age yet you’re only 15 minutes from the town of Plettenberg and about 5 minutes to a wonderful stretch of beach just down the hill. However the facility itself is nearly new so it features all the modern conveniences to be had. Architects and interior designers will be fascinated by the attention to detail that went into the construction of this lodge. The grounds are extensive and include a horse stable and several paths, providing plenty of opportunity to take in some casual exercise in a wonderful secluded environment. The proprietors and staff were incredibly warm and friendly and the advice given made sure we got the most out of our 2 days there. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Crags.

Schon beim Ankommen waren wir beeindruckt von dem tollen Haus und dem unglaublichen Blick über das Tal, den wir auch von unserm Zimmer aus genießen durften. Ein Ort, an dem man von der ersten Sekunde an sofort völlig entspannt. Dazu tragen natürlich auch die Mitarbeiter bei, die einen rundum und sehr aufmerksam umsorgen. Auch das Frühstück war einfach nur super. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wunderschöner Blick über die Berge und Wälder vom Zimmer aus. Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtet. Dazu gab es auch ein Kaminzimmer, welches für diesen Raum zur Verfügung stand. The Johnston family has created a fabulous, stylish lodge in a beautiful location; the views from Tamodi are literally breathtaking, overlooking the valley and distant mountain range. This is a very special property and we really enjoyed our stay here. Waking to the sound of birdsong and then experiencing a Tamodi breakfast makes a truly luxurious start to the day - the breakfasts are fabulous! It was a wonderful treat to stay in the honeymoon suite and the outdoor shower is to be recommended..... Big thanks to Chelsea, Nathanial and the rest of the team for looking after us so well - we hope to visit again.
