Great location in the heart of lionshead and steps from the gondola. Property however outdated and with low maintenance; Bathroom really old and in bad condition. Front desk crew were friendly but not helpful. I would not recommend room 305 due to its really old condition.

Location, location, location

Location was outstanding. Five minute walk to gondola. All of downtown Vail was within walking distance, which includes excellent restaurants and shops. Our studio was large enough for 3 adults. We ate breakfasts and lunches in. Kitchenette was surprisingly well stocked for the size it was. Lots of closet, drawer, and hook space for all our clothes, wet and dry. Balcony was perfect for wet skis and boots and clothes.

Great location!

Loved my stay there. Room was nicely laid out and cozy. The gas fireplace was so nice at the end of the day. The location in Lionshead Village was great. Close to the lifts, restaurants, shops......an easy walk to all. It is also close to the bus that takes you to Vail Village. Hoping to return some day.

Love Vail

We weren't looking for anything fancy. The place we stayed in was great for what we were looking for. Not too far from the slopes. It was comfortable and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.

We stayed there for 2 nights, and couldn’t shower once bc it was no hot water. My daughter had soccer tournament so we were on a busy schedule, every time we wanted to shower, it was no hot water! Stinky weekend for sure.

Enjoyed our stay.

The property is dated but well kept. There are remodeling and would love to see the new rooms. We had a great room with a nice balcony overlooking the plaza below. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall we really enjoyed our stay with them.

Great location

Great location with easy access to Lionshead Village. Very easy public transportation to Vail Village on the In Town bus. Only disappointment was there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Went when temperature was higher than normal.

Solo tiene ubicación

La ubicación es totalmente inmejorable. El problema es que es un hotel viejo y mal mantenido. Creo que se confían de la tan buena ubicación y dejan de lado la comodidad y mantenimiento.

A place to make good memories

It’s so close from the ski lift and gondola, with a beautiful view on the mountain. The appartement is well equipped and comfortable and we’ve been able to cook all our meals.

This was an amazing location at a great price! You are right in the heart of Lionshead Village and can walk directly out into the village from the condos. The building itself is a bit dated but the unit was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Love that it’s pet friendly as my sister and I had our little fur babies traveling with us. There’s a kitchenette with a microwave small fridge and freezer and stove top so you can make breakfast or something stove top for lunch or dinner. The walk to vail village was about 10-15 minutes and there are buses that run for free if you do not feel like walking. The staff was also so friendly and helpful. I never met them because I checked out after 5 but they were very informative of how to obtain the room key and they answered all of my questions every time I called. Definitely recommend Lift House Lodge if you want the Village experience at a great value.

Nice place

Comment: the front desk is only there till 5 pm. We had a late dinner and when came back, the card reader didn’t work. Now imagine staying in cold vail and cannot get in. Called the emergency number and the lady wasn’t helpful and asking bunch of nonsense questions including the hotel address and name. We were lucky that one other guest let us in. Overall: good place to stay. Beautiful view from the balcony and you can have your pup with yourself

Great get away weekend for Mother's Day. Vail was sparse, but the people who traveled there were respectful and courteous of Covid. Nice to smell the pure Colorado air!

Great location, very convenient. Clean and smooth check in/check-out process. My only complaint was that the bed itself could have been a lot better. While it's a singular complaint with an otherwise very good stay

Retro, but clean and amazing location

The location in Lionshead was second to none. Walk 20 metres and your at the ice skating rink, another 20 and your at the Eagle Bahn Gondola. The room is very retro - looking like the furniture, fixtures and fittings had been there since 1990's - but in saying that the maintenance and cleanliness is excellent. So if your willing to trade not having modern for great location and a mini kitchen to cook in, then the lift house is perfect.

Ski Vacation

The person at the desk upon our arrival was not very friendly and when there was a problem with one of our room keys she was very unhelpful in correcting the problem until another staff member pointed out an easy solution. Rooms were clean but dark feeling--it is time to change the old coiled fluorescent bulbs to LED's and brighten things up a bit. Beds were comfortable, but rooms need some updating. The carpet around the hot tub was gross and moldy smelling and certainly did not make going into the hot tub inviting. The location for the price was unbeatable and I highly recommend renting ski equipment from SkiBase just up the street on the right--great prices and service. Also the Market at Vail just across from the parking garage in Lionshead has all you could need for to stock up on along with an attached liquor store. We lucked out with great snow and weather and had a great time
