This location is excellent for walking to many important sites in DC, but we especially appreciated the cleanliness, the professionalism of the employees, and the comfort and quiet we enjoyed here. Breakfast was superior to many free hotel offerings. Parris at the front desk was especially helpful and kind. We would return to this hotel if another DC trip is scheduled.

Excellent location, delicious breakfast, clean rooms and helpful staff! Overall we had a great trip! The only complaint is the parking, close to $70 per night. Fortunately, we parked across the street at 1750 H St for $26.50 (we booked via SpotHero app, check in 2pm on Saturday check out 10am on Sunday, no in/out privileges, the garage is closed at night).

Great stay at rhe Hampton Inn. Room was perfect, comfortable bed for good night's sleep. Excellent amount of outlets available for charging electronics, great lighting in bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful with good selections. Location was perfect to Metro less than 1 block and with walking distance to view White House and to National Mall. Pool was small but fine for my 9 yr old to swim. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly interacting with my son regularly. Easy to store our bags before room was ready as we arrived early. Would stay here again. Highly recommend!

We really liked that it was close to metro/subway stations to get around the city. Several good places to eat close by like potbelly’s and Luke’s lobster. It’s close to the White House if you have a tour. You could jump on the metro to get closer to museums or the Capitol or Library of Congress. I also liked the walk in shower rather than a tub.
