A gorgeous place to stay

A pleasant place for our one night stopover but would have been good for longer. The position on the lake was lofelu. Staff were friemdly and helpful and it was good to get a vegan meal with advance warning. The only drawbacks are that there no lift (but next time we will request a ground floor room) and the shower is over the bathub and not separate. However, we loved our stay and will happily return.

Couple of points that spoilt our stay. First was in the restaurant. When I made my reservation I asked would it be possible to get a Vegetarian meal, I got a positive response. However when I asked for an Omelette the server said yes, but it never arrived. I also asked for a Sparkling Water, Still Water arrived. I thought there was little point in complaining as my request for an Omelette had been ignored. My other, maybe unfair complaint is due to receiving a phone call after dinner telling us that my wife’s brother had been found dead at home we had to checkout the following morning to return home (we had booked for two nights) urgently. I was quite disappointed that the hotel decided to charge for the second night. Would have understood if the hotel was full and turning people away, but it was on obviously less than half full judging by the car park.

Un hôtel à la sortie de Pont-l’Évêque, juste en face du lac, avec possibilité d’accès à la base nautique. Parfait pour y passer un week-end. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est correct et le personnel est à l’écoute.

L’hôtel me semble globalement surévalué. Dès l’arrivée,on perçoit qu’il s’agit d’un établissement rénové de manière assez grossière,avec des finitions incomplètes et un manque de sens du détail.Cela donne l’impression que la priorité est de rentabiliser les chambres,au détriment de la qualité des finitions (peinture, papier peint, dressing, prises, appliques murales). Certains équipements comme le sauna ou le bain bouillonnant semblent davantage présents pour renforcer l’offre que réellement aboutis.Je n’ai rien contre ces prestations,mais il serait appréciable qu’elles soient mieux intégrées et mieux réalisées. Pour un tarif de 155 € la nuit,petit-déjeuner inclus, je m’attendais à un niveau de confort plus cohérent avec le prix. Le petit-déjeuner est varié,mais quelques détails mériteraient d’être corrigés par exemple,les étiquettes ne correspondent pas toujours aux produits (j’ai bu du jus de poire étiqueté comme jus de pomme).La présentation des confitures est très réussie, mais laisser le sirop d’érable dans son emballage d’origine (biberon plastique) dénote un peu,surtout quand d’autres produits comme le beurre de cacahuète sont présentés en verrine. En revanche,le personnel est très agréable et souriant,et la cuisine est excellente.Les plats que j’ai dégustés,poulet suprême et raie au beurre,étaient impeccables et donnent l’impression d’un vrai travail fait maison. Mon intention est simplement de partager ces remarques pour permettre à l’hôtel de s'améliorer.

Très bon rapport qualité prix

Nous y avons dormi une nuit en plein mois d'août pour un prix très raisonnable pour la région de Deauville. Tout s'est très bien passé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse sur le lac au coucher du soleil, la gentillesse de l'accueil, la qualité du repas. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes, mais bien conçues. Nous reviendrons !
