Very nice property in the Old Montreal neighborhood. Perfect for tourists and easy to get around. Lots of great restaurants nearby and historic locations to see. Room was nice and fully equipped.

We had a wonderful time at The Alexander! We loved that it felt like an apartment :) We did have a small issue with the washer (clothes), but otherwise it was a lovely stay. Great location! Near so many restaurants and cafés! One small complaint is that the air freshener machine in the lobby and common areas was a bit too much. I have allergies to extreme perfumes/scents, so the smell irritated my sinuses when entering and existing the property. Maybe keep that in mind for the other visitors :) All-in-all, we definitely plan to return to The Alexander for future visits to Montréal! Thank you!

The room was nice, clean, and as described in the listing. The location was great for getting around by foot and Metro and the building was quiet. However, there was no actual person at the front desk the entirety of our stay, and the lobby was a little overly perfumed. There was also no access to television services other than our own personally paid services and the internet connection was quite slow.

This not really a hotel in that there is no desk clerk at reception. They send you door codes before your arrival. That wasn’t clear in the description. Also no parking on site which also wasn’t in the description. Good location.

The Alexander Hotel is perfectly situated in beautiful Old Montreal, and is only two short blocks from the Metro stop allowing easy access to all other parts of the city. The accommodations were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The Alexander completely surpassed our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has an excellent location, the room itself was clean and well equipped. But upon arriving the front door was locked, I did not have the code to get in, and after another resident let me in, there was NO ONE at the front desk. Instead there was a series of phone numbers to call. That is what they call 24/7 attention. It took several calls before I was able to receive the code to get into the building and my room. Be aware, they are NO hotel staff in attendance at this property. You will also have to find your own parking near the property.

I loathe hotels that expect you to pay extra money for a late check out. Allowing a late check out is just being considerate. You want an hour because your flight is slightly later and you'd like to enjoy Montreal for an hour before you leave? Sorry, you'll have to give us more money on top of the cost of the room. Just include it in the cost or just be kind humans. Great location & room. Check in process is annoying (do it before you arrive) - no staff is on site, it's all remote so hopefully everything goes good so you don't need anything.

Hotel was good. Nice sized room, full washer/dryer and kitchenette. I wasn't expecting a remote checkin process. I needed to type a code in to open the front door, then communicate over WhatsApp to gat another 6 digit code to open my room's door. It was a bit weird not having a clerk onsite, but it worked. I think many people would prefer a traditional checking process but the remote staff were always very responsive
