Clean room close to the airport. Checked out early but missed ouylt on breakfast (no take way option) and dinner was not available due to staffing issues. This was disappointing as we had to order takeaway at our expense and late on the evening. Pool looked nice though but I did not get to use it due to the early nature of my flight. Receptionist was very attentive and checked on us several times to ensure we were comfortable with the room and take away food.

This place was so good. Our flight got in after hours and so they made sandwiches for us to have upon arrival. A security guard checked us in after hours and gave us our meal and served us at the dining patio. He was very friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful. It feels like an oasis in the middle of the city. Sometimes you could hear the airplanes but nothing too distracting. In the morning we had an amazing Costa Rican breakfast. They anticipated everything and the communication was awesome. They reached out to me in advance and took care of the meals, arranged for a driver to get us from the airport and made sure it all went easy and effortless. We stayed here for the night before departing to La Fortuna. The next day. We had a few hours to kill in the morning and Karin at the front desk recommended an animal sanctuary that we went to. We saw tons of animals and ended up having an amazing experience because of her. This day was great. I felt like I was in a movie scene from Encanto. I would definitely stay here again. Hands down better than any hotel chain.

Clean rooms with beautiful view of the pool and natural landscaping. Owners and staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool was clean and was a nice place to cool off after a day of traveling. We loved the natural landscaping which attracted birds and other local wildlife for viewing. This is a great place for a small group or family traveling together. Next time we'll plan ahead to stay here.

They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!
