The Priest House Hotel
"Cottage rooms could do with some extra cleaning cobwebs etc.. staff were amazing though and so was the local and food was really good"
Delta Hotels by Marriott Breadsall Priory Country Club
"A beautiful location away from the busy city. The staff were excellent both at reception and the two chaps at the pool were very welcoming and professional. The hotel is calm & peaceful just what our family needed after a fast paced break."

"The check in was easy and the staff were brilliant"
Horsley Lodge Hotel
"I couldn't have asked for more from my stay. My room was clean, spacious and very comfortable, just what I needed during a busy trip. Views of the golf course were a nice bonus. It was so quiet as well, being set back far away from any main roads. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I checked in, and also in the excellent restaurant where I had a very good evening meal. I didn't have breakfast, but the options looked very enticing. On-site parking was free, the wifi was quick and reliable (it's not an area of great mobile signal), and if you're a golfer then there's a full course, driving range and putting green to make the most of. This was my first visit to Horsley Lodge and I will definitely be back in the future."
B&B HOTEL Derby
"So close and convenient for rail station."
Derby Mickleover Hotel, BW Signature Collection
"The bedroom was clean but there were a lot of stains on soft furnishings and the carpet etc. The carpet was very worn and bjnched in places - this should be looked at as this could trip up another custome. The spa and pool look loke it would have been lovely back in the day but it needs to be maintained - this does not seem to be the case. The back stairs and carpets were dirty as were the walls of the hallways. There was what looked like a leak through the ceiling of the stairs to the east of the buildings, where the plaster of the walls had peeled away and stains ran down from this. The staff were all polite. We probably wouldn't have seen the backstairs etc. But unfortunately the lift on that side of the building was not working so we needed to. This hotel has the potential to be great ..... - the family room was a fantastic size and had good amenities. The beds were OK in terms of comfort. The windows were falling apart a little and you could hear the traffic very clearly from the room. With some cleaning and a little update this would make a big change."
Kegworth Hotel East midlands Airport
"great price and location for what we needed .. room was clean bit dated ..nice staff and good parking"

During this time, visitors can explore significant landmarks, engage with the friendly local community, and enjoy activities such as kayaking and golf. With its budget-friendly options, Derby offers great value for money, making it an excellent choice for those on a budget. As an added bonus, prices for accommodations might drop even further during these months.

By doing so, you're more likely to be alerted if rooms become available or prices drop, making it easier to secure a spontaneous getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a better deal for your stay in a Derby hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may be more affordable, potentially helping you to secure a more attractive rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but with Derby's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
