It is a fantastic place for families, especially if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet to relax away from the busy city. 4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kuantan
- Book for the cheapest times: Kuantan offers great value for money on a budget, especially during March, May, and October, when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. For a visit that includes exploring key landmarks, historical sites and cultural attractions like family-friendly venues, seafood spots, small-town charm, romantic settings, river areas, waterparks, sunrise views, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and zoos, a stay of at least 1 to 2 days is ideal. This affordable destination is perfect for those seeking a mix of heritage and scenic beauty without breaking the bank.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For Kuantan travellers, begin by exploring DealsOpens in a new window on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel options. If your plans are spontaneous, the Last-Minute Deals section could present opportunities to secure last-minute savings near your departure date. Meanwhile, the Smart Shopping feature via the app is a handy tool to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to spot favourable offers when rooms or prices change. Additionally, by enabling email alerts or push notifications, you can remain informed of flash sales and promotions.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in a Kuantan hotel. For those in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels could provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will indicate if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to assist you in finding a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels closer to the city centre usually come with a higher price tag, though Kuantan’s excellent public transport links mean you might find a more affordable independent hotel further afield that’s still well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less congested neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
