Learn more about Bellagio
Pastel-hued buildings cling to hillsides where Lake Como's arms embrace the 'pearl of the lake.' From the waterfront promenade, Alpine peaks frame views that have lured celebrities for generations. Villa Melzi's gardens offer a perfect afternoon wandering among exotic plants and classical sculptures. Take a ferry to explore neighbouring villages, each with its own distinct personality. The cobblestone lanes of the centro storico lead to artisan shops selling silk scarves and leather goods. La Punta Spartivento provides the quintessential panorama where the lake's three branches meet. For the adventurous, Jungle Raider Park offers treetop thrills just outside town. Locals recommend aperitivo hour at lakeside cafés, where the golden light transforms water into liquid amber.

Hotel Belvedere
"Amazing hotel… 100/10"
Locanda della Maria
"Lovely stay, beautiful rooms, delicious apple strudel, Laura very helpful and welcoming."
Hotel Excelsior Splendide
"Excellent hotel in Bellagio. Great value. We booked a room with view of the lake. It was so beautiful. The room seem to have gone some remodeling. It looked so much better than the pictures on Hotel.com. The AC was very good. It was so hot outside in the beginning of August. We look forward to going back to our room at the end of the day. The ferry gates were also nearby. I highly recommend this hotel."
Borgo Le Terrazze
"Gorgeous!! Nice breakfast and sweet service but go for the view"
Charming Bellagio Boutique Hotel
"Location is super walkable. Pool area is very relaxing and welcome during the summer time. Staff was amazing with a packed lunch on our last day due to an early departure."
Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni
"We stayed here for four nights —-booked two rooms for our family. Some of the highlights include: 1) great, fantastic location which is short walking distance to ferry, shops and restaurants. 2) we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and beautiful swimming pool every day. 3) super comfortable beds and well air conditioned rooms. 4) staffs at the breakfast, pool and concierge are super attentive, warm and helpful. The concierge booked a private boat tour for us and provided useful advices on day trips and ferry schedules. The only and the biggest low light was that the casual restaurant (La Goletta) was super disappointing. The food was boring, plain, and poorly prepared . The restaurant waiters were cold and stern. Given the price, the restaurant felt way below our expectation. Recommend to stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere."
Andirivieni Bellagio Guest House
"The breakfast garden and view. The staff, Eileen (sp?) was wonderful and super helpful!!"
Hotel Don Ferrante
"We had a lovely view from the balcony in our room. The breakfast was delicious too!"
Diamond Apartments
"Staff was excellent, building was in a fantastic location, Babayaga next door was a great spot for a quick bite. Only downside was the price but seemed on par with everything else on the island, so with that said I’d take this over some of the other offerings all things considered."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Bellagio
- Book for the cheapest times: For budget-conscious travellers, Bellagio offers a great value for money, especially during January, February, and December when hotel prices may drop to lower prices. A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring the town's landmark, historical, and cultural attractions, including lakes, ferries, dining experiences, shopping opportunities, guided tours, scenic walks, gardens, sightseeing spots, relaxing areas, and cosy cafes.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find last-minute deals to Bellagio, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications can keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you seize savings opportunities. Additionally, Smart Shopping is a convenient tool available via the app that allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're well-informed. This way, if availability changes or prices drop, you'll be among the first to know, making it easier to plan your last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay at the Bellagio hotel. For those seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised touch and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates appears higher or lower than average, and if it seems on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could potentially offer a more attractive rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Bellagio's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known towns nearby, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
