Melia Purosani Yogyakarta
"Melia Purosani Yogyakarta is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location, within walking distance of Malioboro Street. The lobby is elegant and makes a great first impression. Our stay started with having to wait more than 40 minutes for our room despite arriving after the official check-in time. Once we got the room, we found it spacious and comfortable. However, some housekeeping details were overlooked, including missing hand towels and a bathroom that did not meet our expectations for a five-star hotel. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant. However, when we started ordering, we were told that several menu items were unavailable. The available dishes we ordered were very disappointing in terms of flavor, quality, and value for money. Considering the hotel's reputation, we expected a much better dining experience. Breakfast was better, offering a good variety of local and international options, including an egg station and fresh fruit. The staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, Melia Purosani has a beautiful property, spacious rooms, and a prime location, but improvements in housekeeping and restaurant quality would better align it with five-star standards."

Novotel Suites Yogyakarta Malioboro
"Everything was 10/10 except the breakfast wasn't to my tastes. I can't mark them down for that though"

"The rooftop pool was a welcome addition and a little oasis after touring the city. The beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful."
Greenhost Boutique Hotel
"Amazing unique hotel with nice pool, nice restaurant, and big clean rooms with good showers."
Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta by Harris
"This is a good hotel. The staff is very helpful, breakfast delicious with incredible selection and the rooms comfortable. My only complaint: the bar is terribly overpriced. We learned that our first night. Later nights we noticed that no one is there. (Hint: walk 3 blocks to Ar+otek --- their bar & restaurant are much more reasonable with local live music many nights)."
Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta
"Beautiful and luxurious hotel with an A+ staff. Room is cleaned every day unless I ask to skip (with a button near the door) but they will come by later for a rescheduling. This way they can restock the free complimentary water and food/fruits. Pool is very nice, breakfast buffet is from 6am to 10am and I do recommend getting it as part of your room - wide selection and most of its pretty good. There is a national anthem at 10am that does play in public areas of the hotel. Staff is helpful and professional with the front desk and those at most front facing positions having strong English speaking skills too. Would go back if I was in Yogya"

"Excellent place to stay in Yogyakarta Indonesia"
Oakwood Yogyakarta
"Amazing and friendly staff who are always looking out for you and your wellbeing. The place was 200m away from the market which has local delicious food. It is also 100m from the Tugu Yogyakarta which has many cafes at the roundabout. It’s also 5min away by car to the Tugu Yogyakarta train station and 5-15min away from malioboro mall. The swimming pool is a relaxed and conducive place."

Visitors can enjoy a range of experiences including temples, museums, monuments, and historical tours, all offering great value for money. This makes Yogyakarta an excellent destination for travellers seeking to explore rich culture and heritage on a budget.

To compare hotel prices and amenities, use the Smart Shopping tool available via the app. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you're informed when deals on your preferred hotels become available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay in a Yogyakarta hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest more affordable dates that may help you save.
- Consider your location: Hotels nearer to the city centre tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Yogyakarta's excellent public transport connections, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those wishing to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
