6/10 Good

The hotel itself is quite dated so I would give it at best a 3 star. However, the rooms were clean and the onsite restaurant serves Great food and the pool area was quite nice.

What a lovely little spot! Very clean and quiet. Close to stores and the highway to travel. Not close enough to the highway to hear it though. Had a pool and on site restaurant. Food and prices were good. Price of the motel was excellent. Staff were great.

8/10 Very good

Staff here were excellent and the rooms had plenty of space Restaurant was useful and motel was handy for the ferry. Equipment and facilities in rooms were tired and jaded- Aircon and fridge both sounded like jet aircraft landing. There was a damp musty smell in the room as well

Need a room close to the ferry? Good choice. Bed mattress was worn but otherwise it’s a good size room and decent shower.

4/10 Fair

There was no microwave and iron in the room, and the room was very old. The beds were also very old and noisy. The blankets had yellow spots, and the mattresses were old and uncomfortable. Overall, the room was not well-maintained. I will not stay again in this Motel again. The good thing was the location close to stores and highway.

We stayed for two nights after the ferry was cancelled. Clean rooms and good amenities. The rooms also had heat pumps which was great. The beds could use an upgrade and the bathroom could use a refresh. Decent value for the price we paid. Close to stores and the NL Ferry.
