Toulouse and related destinations
Nicknamed 'La Ville Rose' for its pink brick buildings, this city glows at sunset like a watercolour painting come to life. The magnificent Place du Capitole square buzzes with café life beneath the grand city hall. Duck into the Church of the Jacobins to see its famous 'palm tree' column—an architectural magic trick in stone. At Cité de l'Espace, touch actual spacecraft and feel delightfully tiny beneath the planetarium's dome. The Museum of the Augustins houses masterpieces in a former monastery where gargoyles keep watch over medieval sculptures. For a perfect afternoon, grab a pastry and join locals lounging along the grassy banks of the Garonne River, where students debate philosophy with the casual intensity that defines French intellectual life.

Matabi Hotel Toulouse Gare by HappyCulture
"Very kind and pleasing staff"
Mama Shelter Toulouse
"What a cool vibey high energy hotel. I knew nothing of Mama Shelter before staying at this property, but I'll definitely stay at other "Mama's" Great location close to everything and the buzz of the City, yet the rooms were quiet. Amenities: Great breakfast buffet. I should have included it for all days...next time. Fitness facilities: There are none. Come on Mama, get with the wellness program. Restaurant: Just hopping and buzzing at night, and cafe loungey during the day allowing you to do get some work done while listening to some great tunes. Staff: Friendly, polite, professional and helpful. Get hotel. Great stay!"
Sangha Toulouse Hôtel Bar & Rooftop
"Beautiful modern clean hotel used for a one night business stay. Friendly staff. Great rooftop terrace to enjoy the fresh air whilst working from the laptop. Food is limited in this hotel although plenty of choice outside metres away in the square. Breakfast selection was poor even more poorly replenished for guests arriving to breakfast 8am onwards. More fruits, yoghurts, bread needed. The sink in room 602 had poor drainage. I would stay again for ease of location & onsite parking."
Hotel Le Clocher de Rodez
"Good location and good value overall. Comfortable bed and friendly staff but property and rooms need updating"

"I enjoyed my stay a lot."
ResidHotel Toulouse Centre

For a comprehensive experience of the city's landmarks, history, and culture—including its charming cafes, insightful museums, historical sites, majestic cathedral, and delightful natural parks—a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This period provides great value for money, allowing visitors to explore key attractions through walking, biking, or leisurely family-friendly outings while enjoying the potential for reduced rates during these months.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Toulouse, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted options as your travel date approaches. Additionally, activating email alerts or push notifications can keep you informed about flash sales and exclusive promotions, helping you seize opportunities to save. With Smart Shopping , available through the app, you can easily compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re first to know if prices drop or rooms become available, making your last-minute getaway even more accessible.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could potentially help you find more economical options for your stay in a Toulouse hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you make a booking through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you identify a more attractive rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Toulouse's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there’s often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
