My husband I went during the week and it wasn’t busy at all. This place was a great getaway for us. Puerto Escondido is HUMID, so having the pool was amazing, especially since you aren’t able to swim in the beach due to high tides. You will need to arrange transportation if you want to go downtown; the hotel is about 15min from local stores and taxis do not enter the hotel property unless you already booked. The staff are very welcoming and nice; they helped us arrange transportation to the airport. Download WhatsApp if you haven’t already, it’s the best way to communicate with the front desk staff. The room itself was very clean. They do not provide toiletries or hand towels, so come prepared with everything you need. Breakfast is included and the food is really good! I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

Everything is beautiful except the waves shake the rooms at night like earthquakes Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep while staying at the amenity. The place exceeded the expectations beautifully the only one thing is the rooms need to be modified for the heavy waves in the ocean to avoid the shaking at night

House keeping hit and miss. Limited menu/food very good. Very loud music all day long (beach club). Restaurant and front desk staff very good. Pool needs to be cleaned more often. Beautiful gardens, 8 units, fantastic ocean, nice sandy beach, red flag beach, 5 minutes from airport, 10 minutes from restaurants and other amenities.

This place is HEAVEN. We originally booked one night, but within 20 minutes of being there we changed our plans and booked another night. It's exactly as it seems in pictures--beautiful and instagrammable. It's also quiet--there are only 8 rooms, who all seemed to be couples of various ages who just wanted a quiet time together. Lots of super comfy seating by the pool or facing the beach. The beach is quiet and secluded (not swimmable, but gorgeous). Restaurant is good, staff friendly, and service great! I would 100% come back

This was our first stay at Lu Vee Oasis, and from the moment you arrive, it truly lives up to its name. The property is thoughtfully designed to feel like a peaceful oasis. Our room was lovely, featuring a small private pool and deck that we really enjoyed. Being so close to the ocean made it even better. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed—from arranging taxis to answering any questions we had. The main pool area was nice and relaxing. The food and mixed drinks were just okay, and service during meals could have been a bit more attentive. One highlight of our stay was the massages. We didn’t realize they would be set up privately outside our room, which made the experience even more special. It was incredibly relaxing, and both therapists did a wonderful job.

Such a fantastic location on one of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches we’ve seen. A taxi ride into town but well worth it as the secluded hotel has the wow factor and allows for total relaxation but can get the buzz of town easily. Staff were very attentive, particularly Javier on front desk and Rafa in the bar / restaurant. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay during our 3 week tour of Mexico and would definitely recommend it. It does look like this area will become more developed in the future so sooner the better to visit, if you want the beauty and exclusivity of this amazing beach. Hotel only being a year old all facilities and amenities in top condition. Rooms smallish but very well designed so no problem on space and with unbelievable view. Pool was lovely . Loads of Sun beds and umbrellas and cracking music playlist. Also, we saw whales from the beach and a turtle sanctuary on the beach just 400 yards away which was worth a visit and for a small donation helped release some baby turtles.

Location does not help unless your plan is staying in the hotel all day long. However there is nothing to do...hotel is nice but not incredible. I paid for a room with ocean view and I only heard it, it was so far away to appreciate. Thats why I chose the hotel, they promised an incredible view but nothing. Honestly very dissapointed. Paying for taxis everytime is very expensive. I paid in taxis more than the flight. Food ok but nothing to remember, no cokes available !! I wont back.

This is a lovely small property in a new development 15 minutes north of the city. It is right on a lovely beach and walking distance to the turtle hatching / releasing operation. There is a pool and a large cabana housing the restaurant and bar. Overall, a very nice, new property. A few less obvious details: It is best to have a car here. There is nothing within walking distance and cabs are available, but not cheap. You need a ca to get to the swimming/surfing beaches and restaurants. The rooms are nice, but on the small side. They have good AC, a mini fridge and a porch. Beds are comfortable and shower is nice. Staff helpfulness is good, but inconsistent. Galilea at the front desk and Andres at the bar are excellent, but the others seem less dialed in. Breakfasts are very good, but don’t start until 8:30. It would be nice to have access to coffee before then, but that’s not consistently the case. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
