White Horse Farm Inn
"We had a one night stop here in October. The room had been redecorated reasonably recently, the bathroom also looked very modern, all very clean. A new mattress wouldn't go amiss though. The staff were very friendly and helpful, for our evening meal we had a pizza, which was ok, it was tasty and very filling. We didn't have breakfast so cant comment. The absolute best thing about this hotel is sitting outside the front having a drink and admiring a stunning view! That alone would bring us back. We will definitely return sometime, recommended."
The New Inn
"The Staff were very helpful."
Cawthorne House
"Superb breakfast, friendly attentive manager. Slight problem with parking - only 3 spaces for 4 rooms! it would be easy to get blocked in. I parked outside the Indian restaurant on the second night, as someone wanted to get away next morning early."
Rocklands Lodges
"Very quite and piece full location. Hot tub was a bonus. Will be returning at some point."
Cottage Lea's Country Hotel & Restaurant

Old Manse Hotel
"Room was clean and presentable room smelled nice an fresh when we came back after our day out staff were friendly Valerie was a good host lovely breakfasts each day and great parking at the back well secured loved it"
The Horseshoe Inn
"Location was lovely. The rooms were spotless but I felt the garden rooms were rather exposed. Maybe net curtains on the windows would have given a little more privacy."
The White Swan Inn
"Nice sized room. Hot beverage faciities in the room were good and well presented. Breakfast was well prepared and satisfying. Staff well informed about partners allergies and made every effort to ensure her safety."
Premier Inn Pickering
"The room and location were fine. The lady at check-in was a touch grouchy - but it was late-ish (10pm)."

Additionally, using the Smart Shopping tool via the app, which allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, you're more likely to see opportunities to save on your booking. Enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the location of the hotel, its star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal for your stay in a Pickering hotel. If you’re in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we could suggest alternative dates that may be more affordable, assisting you in potentially securing a more advantageous rate.
- Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with elevated costs. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels situated further out, as they can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience while generally tending to be cheaper.
